Product Description
Sauna Belt helps sweat away unwanted fat, eliminate cellulite, lose weight and ease muscle pain, all while sitting in the comfort of your own home. The Velform Sauna Belt focuses the sauna heat on the most problematic body parts to help flush out and eliminate toxins. This portable sauna belt is great for the abdomen, waist, back and hips. Just apply the Velform Sauna Belt around the chosen body part and let the belt do all the work. It will stay firmly in place with the secure velcro attachment. Velform sauna belt is an alternate way to help you lose weight. Sauna belt review is similar in a sense to a heating pad. You control the temperature setting. When the Sauna Belt is set to maximum the heat stimulates the blood flow around the area you place the sauna belt velform. This stimulation helps generate heat. The heat caused by the suana belt can assist you in sweating. Product includes: Flexible Velform Sauna Belt (one size fits all with secure fastening system), Multi-Level Remote Control, Instructional Guide, 7-Diet Plan, and a Tape measure.

I received a "Sauna Belt" as a surprise (i.e., not mentioned at all) bonus inside the box of an Ab Chair I bought a week ago. Have you ever heard of a manufacturer giving you free bonuses without mentioning them at all??? What's unusual is that the belt is clearly the "Velform", but with the word "Velform" not printed on it, or in the "Ower's Manual" (sic) that comes with it. However, the word "Velfrom" does appear in one paragraph inside the manual...along with numerous typos and grammatical errors. So it would appear that someone is trying to dispose of unsafe stock (which was, incidentally ordered pulled from the market and destroyed in Europe) by including it with the Ab Chair. As I know that devices like this will not cause weight loss, and because the thing looks so cheap and potentially dangerous, I don't intend to use it. But out of curiosity, I took a closer look at it, and Googled for reviews of it. Based on all the reports of personal injury and fires, I strongly suspect that the certification marks (CSA, UL, CE) on it are counterfeit, and that the product has never been tested by these organizations, for it clearly does not meet their safety standards. If it causes burns; the thermostat doesn't work; the auto shut-off feature doesn't work, and it's even caused fires (or near-fires), this product should be reported to the CSA, UL, and the CPSC. I've done this, and I strongly recommend others to do the same. This product MUST be taken off the market before it kills someone.

The belt melted to my skin, my husband and I both have huge burns on our stomach, I would like to know how to get a hold of the manufacturer.

Hi guys.. The reason im actually on this site now, is because im sitting with the belt on, and i wanted to see if it really works.. But everyone is complaining about blisters and burning and disease?? I put it on maximum for 45 mins, and all that happens is my stomach is slightly red, and yes, you really do sweat. I dont think using it on lowest setting is clever, because *Obviously* you won't sweat. As for your blisters, i have no idea. I only have had this for a week, seems to be working fine :)

For first time i really dispited it and felt like a fool ,the second time and third i felt no sweating at all i holded this product and put it in the closet and left it for one month . Yesterday i used it and i starting sweating but not that much ,today i will wear it again and i think it will be a successful try ,coz you need to put a right warm temperature ,be aware of making this a product as a heater machine this will cause you diseases . Use while being cool and try to play some stomache exercises ,the most important thing to wet the place where you will use the product on.

I used the sauna belt for 50 minutes each day for 45 consecutive days as advised by the makers. After around 25 days I started feeling painful twinges from time to time. After stopping use the twinges continued at meal times and a check up using endoscopy revealed pre ulcerative erosive gastritis. Apparently strong local heat can cause such gastritis as is seen in burn cases but regular use of sauna belts also causes this use. Other such reports have also been heard by word of mouth. The belt companies are not merely running a scam but also directly harming the health of millions of users without any warning of the possible effects . They must be prosecuted !!!

Bought this product and tried it the same day; it did not heat up much at all; glorified heat pad; I didn't sweat at all. I returned this product and don't recommend it.

I really feel cheated, on TV everyone is sweating, but in real life instead of sweating, I was burning, not one drop of sweat. Please save your money and don't buy this. There should be a law about false advertisment. They should also give credit to all those that were caught in thier scam.

I absolutley love this product! I continue to see results everyday, but I work out everyday as well. I find that it helps my back pain very well after having a kid. I really enjoys sitting on the computer and wearing my sauna belt for an hour everynight. The next morning I seem to wake up more refreshed. I have lost 6 in. around my waste in the last month and I absolutley love it!

Don't expect results from simpily sittng while using. This is a pretty good product if you know how to use it properly. 1. Wear in a warm atmosphere 2. Put lotion or your stomach 3. Workout with the belt on 4. drink hot liquids and eat spicy foods You WILL NOT get results from just sitting around!!! The first time I tried it, I felt completely unsatisfied. But when I used the belt with common sense using those 4 steps, my unsatisfaction changed to happyness. The ONLY MAJOR FLAW- The length of the cord. The length is approximently 5 feet long. 5 feet isn't much at all. You have a limited space to work with. After watching this infomercial again, I noticed that everyone wearing the belt, had no cord. It showed people running around having fun sweating with the belt, when in fact I could see no cord which was false advertising!! Watch the infomercial again!!! You'll see what I'm talking about.

This product should not be on the market it was too good to be true so I decided to try it first time no result second time same thing so I tryed a few more times thinking it takes a few try's still nothing not one inch nor swet I was so upset I wanted to return it but it came with no return adress from the time I got it and notice they were no return adress I knew I was being suckered so take it from me some one who try the sona belt DONOT BUY IT.

This belt is all what people say it did not have an automatic timer. It did not make you sweat and I did leave horrible burn marks and redness for days. I did indeed lose one inch. Not in the hour it said. It took several days. Then I realized that this was a waste of $$$$$. After two weeks of using it. I finally melted the belt when it creased while wearing it. Shame on those people in the infomercial smiling and acting like this product actually works. Someone could actually get hurt.

4/18/2006 - Denise of Missouri, USA writes:
This product did not make me sweat at all. I sat under it for 50 minutes with the tempature one slot down from the highest only because I was afraid that I would burn myself if I turn it up any more than it was. No sweat, no inches lost. Terrible product. On top of that you are so limited in your movement because it has to remain plugged in.

4/12/2006 - Lisa of Ontario, Canada writes:
Simply, it does not work as advertised - no sweat, no inches lost..easy to get too hot and get blisters or burns. Really lousy.

3/24/2006 - Stephanie of Arizona, USA writes:
This product looks like a miracle worker on the infomercial. But don't fall for it!!!! All it does is burn your skin and you get NO RESULTS whatsoever. Total waste of money, and 50 minutes.

3/20/2006 - Frances of Texas, USA writes:
I used this product on a low setting and did not even use it the full 50 min. I had severe blisters that will take a couple of months to heal. This is nothing but a a heating pad. This is a dnagerous product.

3/8/2006 - Michael of New York, USA writes:
As with most products bought from an infomercial this one is a scam as well. I used the product for 50 mins and did not sweat at all. The worst part is I measured my stomach before using the product just like the informercial said to do. They guaranteed that I would lose 2 inches from my stomach after just one use...the worst part is after I used it I did not lose a thing, I actually gained one inch. Also the informercial does not even show the people plugging the product into the wall, they actually have two people lying in a pool using it... how fake is that? Now I am trying to call the return this product and no one will answer this. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!! these people are fakes... and they should be ashamed of themselves! I wish I could give this product no stars!

Do Not Waste Your Hard Earned Money. It was a heating pad that left burn marks. No Sweat Anywhere. I guess if it sounds to good to be true it usually is!!
