The price was right so I bought an urban rebounder after doing some research on them. I use it almost everyday for 5 minute warm-up before I do my regular strength routine. I jump on it between exercises. I use the basic workout video from time to time as well. If you are not used to doing a fast paced video workout, you shouldn't let it discourage you. The moves are basic but the pace is FAST and if you aren't in reasonable shape you run out of steam pretty fast. This should not deter you from buying the urban rebounder. I would recommend that you watch and practice the basic moves without the video at you own pace. Slowly work at you own pace up to 15 to 20 minutes while watching music videos. Once you are there then go back to the video workouts. I recommend rebounding for anyone no matter what shape you are in.

I purchased the Urban Rebounder & Compilations 1&2. I'd been disabled for 3 years & was starting to exercise again. The rebounder took very long to arrive, but the CSRs were helpful. It was worth the wait. It was easy to assemble, solid, although the stabilizing bar is loose & rattles. I started with Senior Bound. Fantastic workout! While my calves were sore at first, there was none of the pain I get from aerobics. I've had the Rebounder for 6 months now. The DVDs are great (especially with JoJo); there are many workouts to choose from. All are different & eliminate the boredom factor. The Rebounder has held up so far, & I am lean. Lost 4 inches from my waist (Small & wasn't grossly overweight to begin with). My rear end isn't drooping anymore, my stomach is flatter, & I have more energy. Despite shipping difficulties, this is the best decision I've ever made when purchasing exercise equipment.

I have been using this rebounder for close to a year, I own ALL the workouts (about 16 in all) and I fit my clothes better and am more toned. I have arthritis (and sometimes I overdo) but it does make you feel good to jump up and down, be able to jog and get a meaningful workout with minimal joint damage. I love it and have also ordered the Body Burner system for even more variety. These workouts along with gentle weight bearing workouts are fantastic for anyone that may suffer from joint damage or arthritis that is trying to stay fit.

This is a great workout. Make sure you get the JB Berns video with it. You'll want to start on the first timer program which is 15 minutes and teaches you the core moves. Don't be surprised if you can only do 5 minutes your first time. Since this is the only exercise known to man to directly affect every cell in your body, you're old cells will need to be replaced by the new ones. You'll find within a week you can do the 15 minutes. You'll drop weight and inches like never before. A good bood to read on rebounding is the updated version or rebounding by Al Carter, the studies will blow you away. Rebounding is the fountain of youth exercise routine.

This home version of the rebounder is NOT the same one they sell to the gyms.... don't believe the ad! I found myself bottoming out during several exercises on the home version. That never happened in the gym. I am overweight but not even close to the maximum weight limit so this should never have been a problem. I talked to one of the trainers and she put me straight. Returned the unit with minimal problem. I now have a Needak and I love it.

I never lost more weight and inches doing any other exercise program in my life. This is walking, jogging, sprinting, jumping rope and calastenics all in one. In 3 months doing it Monday thru Friday I went from a 38" waist to a 32! I did not do any of the ab exercises! I simply did the Basic, Intermediate, and advanced routines. It's a tough work out you have to build up to. Get the videos from JB Berns.

If you are not already in pretty good shape, this may not be the item for you. When I saw the infomercial, I was motivated to buy the item, since it looked so easy to use. I'm not in bad shape; I walk on my treadmill daily, but the Urban Rebounder was very difficult for me to use. I don't think the item is necessarily misrepresented, but you may want to try it out in a gym first, before committing to owning one yourself.

Great cross-training & also warm-up! This is a great workout for anyone who is able to stand and bounce or jump a bit; for people at almost any fitness level. Also very good for young children - always with adult supervision. Even our 10 month old likes to sit and be bounced or stand and bounce lightly as we hold her hands. Fitness buffs will get a really good aerobic workout in 30-45 minutes of "rebounding". There's something so attractive, fun and *energizing* about bouncing/jumping for almost everyone. I read somewhere bouncing is very good for the lymph system. I haven't yet used the carrying bag or the stabilising bar but I'm sure at some point we will. I enjoy the accompanying videos. A variety of levels of difficulty and fun and easy to follow.
