This product is reasonable. They can be used as a stepladder for most household uses, provided the ceiling is 3 meters or less (they will not get you up much more than that). And, it can be used as a hand truck and cart as well as to help moving heavy items. To get the 800 pound rating, you need to use it as a dolly. Now the cons. The bottom part that allows it to be used as a hand truck tends to come down on its own. It is a bit heavy (about 20 kg), but that is necessary for it to have reasonable strength. The antiskid pads can leave a mark on the floor if you inadvertently drag them onto the floor. Generally, these things are quite useful if you do not expect miracles. They will work as hand trucks and dollies when used properly and with common sense, and you can use them in place of a stepladder or stool in the house. As for the extras, I would save the money unless you are reasonably sure you need them--and even then it might be better to improvise.

I bought this to use in school. I have used the trolley to cart books and materials, the ladder to hang things around the classroom and the dolly to sit on when I needed to get under a table to fix something. All the things it says it does, it does! Too bad it is not being manufactured anymore. If you see one for sale, get it quick!
800-lb. trolley, not ladder

Despite my skepticism, this thing has proved amazingly useful, but take note: The 800 lb. carrying capacity is only as a wheeled trolley. As a ladder or a dolly, it's only rated to 250 lbs. or so. I'm a large guy... aw, heck, I'm just plain fat... and I was hoping for a SUPER-strong and portable stepladder, but this ain't it.

this is a great produt...some people say its too heavy, but it has to have some weight to carry the loads it promises..it fits nice into the trunk of my small car. buy one if you need a small compact dolly

My husband bought one and loves it. I've used it mostly to empty the car after going to a warehouse store. My husband uses it on a regular basis for much heavier jobs. It is very strong and that it converts from a flat bed to a hand cart is awesome!

We have used this product as a step-ladder, hand truck, and a dolly. All work very well, as advertised. Only two complaints: It is pretty heavy, so just use the wheels when moving it to where it is needed. And if it's been awhile since we've used it, it is easy to forget how to convert it from one tool to another (e.g., from the dolly to the ladder). Still, worth the money.

We love the total trolley! My husband bought it for himself- but it quickly became "ours." It is sturdy, light weight, and does the 4 jobs it is suppose to very well. Plus it is compact enough to go anywhere. We have used it to move my mom into her new home, to move my son to and from his college dorm, and to move heavy building supplies when we added onto our home, etc. In fact, it is one of the most "borrowed" items we have. So,we have to keep our eyes on it- and make sure its returned promptly!
Too heavy to be useful.

Sturdy and heavy. Too heavy. My wife can't use it. The weight and bulk don't make it house friendly. I think the money would have been better spent on a regular dolly and a lightweight stepladder. We are trying to sell it as we find we reach for other stuff to use rather than fight with this thing. I'd give it a 2-1/2 if I could.

We are building a new home and I thought the Total Trolley would help moving tile, cabinets, etc. It has been great. We had over 5 pallets of tile to move and it had no problem moving the heavy weight. We also moved large, cumbersome cabinets. What I like the most is that it is so versatile - can be used as a hand cart and a push or pull trolley. The wheels look almost new after using it for months. I bought the collapsible bins also and they are very well made. We are very happy with this product. I feel the infomercial was 100% accurate.
