Product Description
Now you can exercise your upper and lower abs, waist, chest, back, shoulders, triceps, and biceps all at the same time - all in one move - in just 5 minutes a day with Torso Tiger! The Torso Tiger works your abdominal muscles while they are loaded.  For example, twisting done with a broomstick or other equipment will raise your heartrate, but will do nothing to build stronger abdominal muscles. The Torso Tiger uses your own body weight to create resistance and build your abdominal muscles while increasing heartrate. This combination helps burn body fat, develop muscle, and strengthen your cardiovascular system.

Works, but needs better bands

9/11/2008 - Dennis of NY, USA writes:

I tried the Torso Tiger, and it does work well. If you are expecting to lose weight and get a slender figure, however, you will not because you will need to actually burn the fat first. But to strengthen the ab muscles so you are less prone to back problems, it worked every bit as well as allopathic medicine but without the side effects. It might even relieve certain kinds of back problems when used correctly. However, it is not perfect. The bands only offered two levels of resistance, and the harder setting was still too easy for me. And eventually (after about a year of daily use), the bands broke at the handle. First one, then the other. Of course, by that time I was less relying on them because I had developed ab strength enough to not need them. However, this could pose a potential safety hazard. If the bands fail unexpectedly, the user could fall and get hurt. Likely it would be a minor Ouch! hurt, but potentially more serious. You need to inspect the bands daily at the point where they join the handle, and use with caution if they appear near failure. This is a very good product for beginners. But, if you are seeking to replace one that you use regularly, I would recommend the [] found at a department store. By then, you do not need the bands and will be able to use just the wheel. And it will save you around $30. Or, just keep using the Torso Tiger without the bands.
