I love my Tornado and have one on every vehicle I own. I have a 2000 Buick LaSabre with the 3800 motor. Prior to installation I usually got about 28 miles per gallon. Now I get up to 34 MPG. I have saved thousands in the four years I have use it.

I baught the tornado for an 87 nissan pickup andit helped a lot. I think that it helped enough to pay for itself and I am satisfied.

I track my mileage by taking my total tank trip mileage & dividing by gallons of fuel added. When I had a '95 Geo Tracker my mileage was always between 20-22 mpg. After I installed this product I would get 25-27 mpg. On the freeway I always drive 70 mph. I used this on my car for a year until I bought a new car. I was impressed w/ product. My husband has an '02 Jeep Wrangler, and he gets between 18-21 mpg. Since I had good results with tornado, I bought him one also. He tracks mileage same way I do. However, he had no change (+/-) in mpg. I now have an '07 Hyundai Elantra & I am debating whether to buy again. My mileage on this car is not what I expected, almost always 30 mpg @ 70 mph; however, my commute is freeway w/ unfortunate stop lights along the way. So, yes it might/might not work on your car.

I first used one of these on a 1990 Dodge van, 318 ci v8. got some improvement in gas mileage ... about 2 mpg, and better air quality readings. I've since used them on all of our vehicles, including 3 Buicks, one Isuzu PU, one Toyota Tercel and 2 Kia's, with varying degrees of success. There has always been a noticeable improvement in mileage and I have never failed an emission test.

I bought this turbo and was trying for a on a few more miles per gallon on my small motor home.....wrong. I usually got between 12 and 14 mpg but after a 700 mile trip, with no wind to effect the readings), my mpg dropped to 8.5/9.2. So upon returning home,( with the turbo taken off), I plan on returning it to the dealer and see what he has to say.

My first application was on a 2001 Chevy Astro. Installed per instructions and recorded fuel mileage on 3 tanks of gas (25 gal each). Mileage dropped from 20 mpg to 18.5. I also noted the throtle response to be a little more sluggish. I removed the Tornado and my mileage returned to 20 mpg. I must say they do honor their warranty and will refund the sales price if not happy with the product. Two years later I thought I would give it another try on a 2006 Toyota Tundra 4.7 V8. Ran several tanks of fuel with no increase in fuel mileage. I did notice a slight increase in throtle response. Again I returned the product purchsed at Autozone for a full return. In my case the only good thing I can say about the product is that they they do honor their satisfaction and return policy.

This product would work great if everyone had forced induction. You see, your engine only pulls in the air it needs unless you have a turbo charger or a super charger forcing more air in. If you put this in a normal car, it just puts another barrier in your intake. If you are using a turbo or super charger, and your air is being forced in, then it actually helps to lower fuel consumption. BUT, if you are using a turbo/super charger, your fuel consumption is crap anyways, plus it doesn't lower it enough to make a difference. It sounds like a good idea, but you can get better mileage if you use a cold air intake and an aftermarket CAT.

Purchased the Tornado for my '97 Ford F150. Never saw an increase of horsepower or fuel savings as advertized. It did increase the air to engine "BUT" caused the air filter to clog within a week. Changed the $24 air filter and had with the same clogged air filter results within two weeks.

i used this in a 85 dodge van 8 cyl - it used to ping unless i use premium gas - it lessened the pinging when i use regular gas and the tornato - but no other increases were noticed -

I received this as a gift and I have used this for a couple of years and it has impoved my milage slightly and has increased my horsepower some. Its not perfect but with a gas guzzling SUV anything will help. It works better when you upgrade your air filter.

I tried it on an '02 Civic Si on a trip from Kokomo IN to Fountain Hills AZ. It did not seem to change the fuel economy for the Civic Si. I thought the V-TEC system on the Civic might have been the reason for its lack of effectiveness. Mark

Tried this product on a 2001 SUV for six months with a combination of city driving and long-distance driving. There was NO change in efficiency (and we kept detailed records). What a waste of money.

Hunk of junk....tried it on an Olds CUtless with the 5 litre engine..it did exactly nothing. If this worked, every car in the USA would have one under the hood from the car companiries. Don't buy one.
