The Swing Setter by David Leadbetter is a training tool for golf and like most training tools has a specific function. Primarily, this device is to teach properly timed release of the club and help enhance swing speed. Some of the other features, like the clubhead and the plane pointer are fairly useless. Also the backswing magnet can be hard to set because of the snapping motion required. It too is useless. However, the downswing/impact magnet is useful in helping developing clubhead speed and timing at impact. However, there are better devices for this such as the [] that are much better at this sort of thing.
