I smoked for 30 years and at least a pack a day. Tried twice to quit and the longest I lasted was 3 months. The gum, sickened me (I was chewing, that's a No-No), tried the patch and after a few weeks, threw them out. I was tired of being forced to smoke outside in all weather conditions. I was tired of going out for a smoke at 12:00 midnight and panicking when I only had two left. Would hop into the car and drive 3 miles to the 711 and purchase a pack. Had a cold and decided what the heck I'm home so let's see how long I can go. The first 3 days were horrendous, shakes and sweats, couldn't sleep, you name it I had the symptoms. My Wife purchased this product at the health food store, last one in stock and 50% off. Started taking it on Day 4, and frankly felt better. Thing is from what I've read the first 72 hrs are the toughest, so it could of been the 'placebo effect', who knows? It did seem to help me, but it's not magic in a bottle......You really must be committed and want to Quit!!PS August 2, @ 9:10 PM, 2007 will be my 3rd anniversary and still get the urges but last a couple of seconds and fades away.

I was smoking about 1 1/2 packs a day. I had been a smoker for about 15 years. I've tried patches, nicorette and another one that I can't remember the name even. Look...I really enjoyed smoking and I really didn't want to quit. My wife is pregnant and vomits around different odors. This includeds cigerette smoke. I bought the Smoke Away kit and remember thinking "probably another scam." I smoked my last cigerette september 14, 2006. I know its only been 5 months and I still get the urge but the urge is mental cravings only. The pills help to cleanse the nicotene out of your body. The first week was the hardest. It was getting past the nicotene or physical addiction. Anyway...it works...It's not magical. You have to follow the program and you have to have the discipline to follow through.

I had been smoking 4 pks/day for years, could only sleep sitting up, annual bouts with pneumonia etc. I followed the directions **Exactly** and it worked Exactly as advertised!! I quit smoking in 2 days, no cravings in less than a week! 6 years later [all smoke free]I started smoking again due to major stress in my life, and went right back to the 4 packs/day. Bought the product again, followed the directions again, and was smoke free in 2 days [again!], cravings gone in less than a week. Buy it. It will probably save your life!

This only works if you actually cut back and if you aren't religious about taking pills this isn't for you. (Taking 3 pills a day for breakfast, lunch, dinner...etc)

In a few weeks (Aug 06) will be celebrating my 2nd year not smoking. I smoked for 30 yrs (a pack a day) a friend wanted to stop, was going to try hypnotism. I laughed and bet him a $100 that he'd crack first and I'd do it alone. On the 3rd day, I was really having problems. Had the shakes, sweats...just like watching a movie of a heroin addict drying out. My Wife purchased this product at a Health Food store (was onsale 1/2 price), last package in stock. Don't know whether it was a placebo effect or what. This product did help me but if anyone is contemplating quitting Nothing will work Magic unless YOU really want to Quit and are prepared. The old adage 'no pain, no gain' applies. If you're serious about quitting, this product certainly can't hurt your chances of being successful and quite possibly (as in my case) reinforce one's determination.
