100% JUNK. These are worthless. They didn't work for anything. I thought maybe if I wash them it would loosen them up and they would work. They shedded all over in the washer and in the dryer they peeled apart in chunks. God for Nothing. 100% JUNK.

my mother purchased the shamwow and gave me two of them. my suggestion would be to not waste your money. buy a cheap roll of paper towels and you will have a better product.

I borrowed a ScamWow from a friend, and found it to be useless. The moron who does the commerical on TV is probably a used car salesman. what makes me laugh is his line. call in the next 20 mins, we can't do this all day. It is the typical TV sales pitch and it does not live up to its sales pitch..its garbage. Its like all that garbage Billy Mays hawks on other Tv rip offs. JUNK!

I decided to order these for the small fee on the add. I didn't even get all of what was advertised! I got 4 cloth rags that ripped apart, due to being cheaply made! I called their hotline back and explained how I feel I was wronged, and how they ripped apart so easily. I was told I had ordered imposter Shamwows! I said, like hell I did. This is the same number I called when I placed my order. if that's true, then you my dear, are working for the imposters!

The product is good but be cautious. I received 2 mops I did not order. and what I thought would be $19.95 plus S/H. Was billed $101.75 on my VISA. for 8 cloths. To return for credit you could loose more.

I wish I had read reviews before purchasing this product, but I was wowed by the informercial and took the bait. I used the smaller rag to wash some windows and when I went to use it again the next day, it fell apart; tore up like a cheap piece of felt. Yesterday I used another one to do my cupboards and, yes, again! It too is falling apart. Guaranteed for 10 years?? I've only had them for 10 days!! What a waste of money. I should have known better.

Bought mine years ago. Mine has [] printed across the face so you know how old it is. Must wet and wring first or you will just push water. If you don't like yours please send it to me. I'll pay the postage.

Quite frankly, I bought these from the commercial as a joke b/c my husband loves the commercial and kept asking (kiddingly) Why don't we have any Sham-Wows? The next time he asked, I had them. And, yes, they do work wonderfully! Follow the directions and you'll be amazed at the results. I have one in every bathroom, in the kitchen, and in the garage. No more smelly sponges! I still use paper towels for other things but have cut my usage down by about 3/4. I even got a second set. I will probably buy them as Christmas gifts because they are practical and inexpensive - and with 8 grandkids that spill a lot, their parents will appreciate them.

UPDATE: Hi, Shamwow is a sham! Do not buy this junk. These towels do nothing! I take that back they DO push water around all over you counters but they don't pick anything up! Trust me I just got these in the mail and they are worthless! If you try and send them back they will not credit your card! DO NOT waste your hard earned money on this Sham!! DO NOT listen to the positive reviews because these are just people paid by the company! SAVE YOUR MONEY! SHAMWOW IS A SHAMWOW IS A SHAM! Anthony

so i saw the commercial and instantly wanted one. i saw them being sold at the calgary stampede and they were sold out, an hour later they had a new shipment in and people were crowding around the booth. everyone wanted them!!! i watched with my own eyes the guy selling them pour half a bottle of coke on an already wet and rung out shamwow and it did exactly what it was supposed to, soaked it up like magic. i think people are just complaining cuz they arent using them properly WET THEM FIRST AND RING THEM OUT. needless to say i bought them for 20.00 and i use them everyday and they work wonderfully.

tried it wound up throwing it away should have know it was crap just by looking at the conman on tv trying to sell it he remindes me of a street corner salesman selling stolen watches

Now I know why it isn't sold in stores. If I had seen it first, I wouldn't have bought it. Tried drying my truck with them. Tried them dry and tried them wet. After about five minutes with the Sham wow, I went back to my 10 year old $3.99 [] bath towels. They do a much better job. Also tried soaking up spill on piece of carpet as shown on TV. I guess I was using the wrong kind of water because it didn't work for me. Smoke and mirrors...product sucks.

I purchased Shamwows because I was tired of running through so many paper towels, sponges and cleaning cloths. I have used them for regular household cleaning, with cleaners such as window cleaner, disinfectant sprays, dish detergent, etc., on countertops, bathroom fixtures, furniture, glass, etc.. I am quite happy with the results.I have not found any absorbency/use problems.

I have used shamWows for about 5 years on my dishes and i work for a limousine company and we use shamWows to dry the limos. they work beautifully and way better than a towel. most people think that you should just start drying but no. you have to totally soak it. then ring it out as much as you can THEN dry! and it works great. so if you know how to use it youll fall in love with it. i didnt buy mine off a commercial either i buy it at my local fair that comes every year. and the commercial has this carpet with soda in it...thats a lie as you can clearly see. but it works great for everything else.

Please don't get scamed these towels are only good for washing a car not drying it. They do not pick up any thing. DON'T USE PERFECT PATCH that they sell on tv for your lawn you will be very mad trust me they charged me 123.50 for 5 bags (large chip size) and it don't work. BE CARFUL WITH TV ADS

I really do wish I had read the reviews before I had my husband put out good money on these. Yea, Wow! what an idiot I feel like. It just smears water around. No pick up! Wonder how they even simulate the pick up on the car and surfaces. Do not waste your money.

Here's the rub kids..I feel so sorry for everyone that's been conned into buying this crap product, as was I. Someone should start an Infomercial Club, where each member buys and tries one infomercial product and reports their results to the rest of the club. Then another member tries another product, and shares the results with the club and so on. That would save so many people a lot of money and a lot of time! As for Shamwow, I kind of knew it would suck but I took a chance. Here's the clue that I ignored. Remember that piece of carpet that was drenched with liquid and the SW absorbed every last drop, even drying the surface BELOW the carpet? That shot was not consistent. It was well done and you had to watch closely to catch it, but they stopped tape, probobly using paper towels to soak up the excess liquid, then started the tape again, editing it to look as if it was done in one swift move. That is so sleazy. It makes me so angry, especially when I see the makers of infomercial products who instruct their lawyers to go after consumer reporters who uncover their scams. If you don't want the public to discover your product is just useless shit and then discuss it on forums such as this one, THEN DON'T SCAM THE BUYING PUBLIC YOU INGRATES! Didn't your Mom's ever tell you people it's not nice to cheat steal and lie? For Shame! You'll never get to heaven this way!

The shamwow shammy needs to be completely wet before trying to absorb anything. So, make sure you soak the shamwow and wring out. Then it is ready to pick up the spills. I absolutely love mine, but got them from somewhere else.
