This company should be shut down by the gov.! What a sham! 2 for $10.. yeah right! I order the sharks and the free shears they show me a knife for 9.99, so I order it also. I get 2 sharks for 10.00 and one knife for 10.00. NOOOOO! shipping and handling is 7.95 Each piece! Geesh! a whopping 37.95 bill. Gets better! I order the product on the 9th of Jan. Never got and email or phone call, nothing saying the product was shipped,other than the original printout on my pc. Come Feb. still no product call nothing! So I call and the tell me "it's in the mail, on the way!" Got a box in the mail 2shears and a knife. No sharks! Call them up and the product is in the mail and on the way! Feb 8th I called again because I have no product! Find out that it is backorderd! I say until when? They say"should be a week or two". Called today to see if the sharks are in! they tell me my card was declined! I'm asking why are you trying to charge to my card? They tell me "To ship you sharks! they are in!". I tell the lady but I have paid you guys with my credit card and the transaction shows you have been paid last month when I purchased the product. Now sent the products separate so they can hose you some more! now they want more 25.00! to get the sharks! Dumb Ass spends more money!,I ask, "when will I recieve them?" they say should be shipped within four weeks or so! At this point I don't even care anymore! Never again will I be taken for a ride like this! OOOh! I go to the Mall, The [] carries the shark for 10.00. Did I buy it? Heck no! would not give that company a dime!

I bought a Samurai Shark, not from the informercial, but from a Publisher's Clearing House offer. I didn't end up paying an outrageous shipping charge. But in my opinion, any charge is outrageous for the product. I tried it on three different pairs of scissors, and ruined all of them. My husband tried it, too, thinking that I just didn't have the force required to get good results. His efforts also did nothing to improve the condition of the scissors. I'm thrilled that I didn't try it on my expensive dressmakers shears, but only on cheap ones.

I have used it on non serrated knives and it works perfect. I have been able to achieve razor sharp edges by just put some ole elbow power and time into it. I love this product..

Aside from the extorted shipping a lot of people pay when ordering from the website(I got mine [] for next to nothing) the actual product works pretty well. I just got done sharpening about 7 knives that were very dull and are now pretty sharp, not razor sharp or professional expensive kitchen cutlery sharp, but they are very useable now. They also did an OK job on an old pair of scissors, but nothing to brag about. I'm giving it a 4/5 because it works (I can't believe it either!) and because the case is kind of flimsy but if you can pick one up for cheap then I'd try it out.

So far have only tried smooth knife blades -- seems ok. Have yet to try serrated edges, garden shears, etc. Beware of fees when placing your order. Discounted and bonus items are far from free!

This is a total rip off from the outrageous packing & shipping charges to the items they are selling!!! Can't believe that the Better Business Bureau hasn't put an end to this kind of scam. Makes you wonder who is getting paid to look the other way or just not look at all!!

Product does an acceptable job of sharpening non-serrated knives. Very tedious and ineffective sharpening of serrated-edge blades, which was the primary reason for purchasing this product. Would not recommend.
