I smell class action law suit!!!

8/14/2008 - Denise of Arizona, USA writes:

I too had the misforune of calling Ronnie Lynn Deutch's office, in hopes of getting my 14,000 dollar tax bill settled. After 3,000 dollars and being bullied by the associates working for this firm and a knot in the stomach year, they told me there was nothing they could do, except, of course file an appeal for another amount of money. I want to get everyone that has been ripped off by this company look into getting a class action law suit going, for us, and for future tax payers that will fall into this trap. I think Ronnie Lynn Deutch needs to be put out of business and what better way to do it then make them bankrupt. Please write with your thoughts.

take your money then drop you like a hot rock.

6/2/2008 - Dean of CA, USA writes:

Two days after getting payment in full they dropped my case due to a claim that I had not filed my papers correctly. An issue that I was told at the beginning of the process would not be a problem.

Scam Masters

6/2/2008 - Regina of Connecticut, USA writes:

We hired this "firm" because the IRS paperwork was so overwhelming and confusing that we hoped a tax consultant would organize just what we needed to do to get out from under our tax debt. Initially, we never thought of avoiding our obligations. We filed our taxes every year on time. Roni Lynn Deutch Tax Consultants urged us to enroll in their service. They informed us, emphatically, NOT to contact the IRS, which we didn't. Now our wages have been levied. We called the IRS to discuss our problems and the IRS is working with us. The IRS will do everything to help individuals with their taxburdens. The IRS can and will do anything the law offices of Roni Lynn Deutch will do. All you need to do is contact them and stay in touch. And the IRS services are FREE.

Total FRAUD

5/29/2008 - Jim of AZ, USA writes:

This company took me for $2,700 and then cancelled me by saying I didn't do their paperwork correctly. I would join any suit against them anytime. Turns out they are a franchise biz. Watch out for RLD.

use caution

5/14/2008 - john of michigan, usa writes:

Just a word of caution from a retired IRS guy---if you have a problem with IRS you can usually solve it yourself by just talking to them. If you ignore them, it only makes things worse. My experience with RLD and other firms out there who promise to help you solve your tax problems is that they only want to charge big bucks to file an Offer in Compromise. This is something you can do yourself with the guidance of the IRS Revenue Officer. Again, try talking to them. Don't waste your money on firms like this.

RLD Ripped us off too

5/9/2008 - Michael of ND, USA writes:

I want to know where everyone else is going to file their complaints, so my wife and I can file ours at the same place. There is power in numbers! We were taken by RLD for $3800.00 and they did little to nothing other then constantly screw up paperwork to prolong our settlement with the IRS, and finally dropped us when we caught their deliberate acts of incompetence!

Professional felons and con-artists.

4/4/2008 - Lewis of Virginia, USA writes:

Roni Lynn Deutch are professional felons and con-artists. After hiring Roni Lynn Deutch, not one single proof of IRS-related documents could be produced by their attorneys indicating they requested my tax transcripts. Nor could they produce evidence of Power of Attorneys sent on their behalf. When calling their firm, only legal assistants claimed to review documents (who are all incompetent and liars). After paying a $585 retainer & $485 monthly payments for four months, they ultimately told me they could not help me. I requested my client file and was told to make the request in writing and to stop calling their office. I asked for the company manager's name and was given a bogus abbreviated name. I am filing a request with the Better Business Bureau indicating that after paying attorney fees of $2,950.00, I was scammed by this company with no results with the IRS. I should have given the $2,950 directly to the IRS as a good faith payment against my debt. Please, good citizens, do not use this company if you are searching for tax attorneys. You will be further in debt and possibly forced into tax levy/liens because of their failure to communicate to the IRS (which they never will).

Meet the "tax lady"

3/12/2008 - ellie of Nevada, USA writes:

I was charged nearly $4000, three years ago. They told me it would only be a year to resolve my issue. They would lose information I sent them. I paid their fee for their services in installments. I always heard from them when a payment was due. Once they had been paid in full, they did not do much more for me. I have now recieved a letter from IRS saying RLD dropped me . RLD firm lawyers & staff are incompetent and scam artists. I plan to file a complaint, as should others!

Did absolutely nothing!!!!

11/16/2007 - Charles of North Carolina, USA writes:

I employed this so-called Law Firm to help alleviate my tax debt ans income levies. I paid well over $3,800.00 and they just told me today that they have canceled there representation due to my negligence. They said they have sent numerous letters lately (I received one in the past 2 weeks) seeking information and documents (I have given them everything they asked for in a timely manner). My case was supposedly complete and all I needed to do was send them the OIC filing fees and I was set. Now I have no idea what to do. NEVER, EVER deal with these people. This is all a scam to sell you a product that they cannot deliver on.

Stay away

1/12/2006 - Judy of Alabama, USA writes:

I have had many different experiences with attorneys, each one regarding a different legal matter, but this is the first time I have had an unpleasant experience of such a serious nature, with regards to an attorney. This law firm is the most unprofessional, fraudulent, excuse for an attorney that I have ever seen in my entire life. The entire practice is a joke, and it mocks what a legal professional should be, in every sense of the word. Please, if you are having a tax problem, contact a local attorney who will help you, and do not send money to this firm. If you can't find a local attorney, contact the Bar Association in your state, and they can help you.

Where is the honesty?

1/10/2006 - Clayton of Kansas, USA writes:

If you pay a heafty salary then you would think that you are getting someone who is well versed in what they are selling. This was not what I got, after $4200.00 in fees, I got bullied and brushed off. The money is gone, I still owe the taxes and the Law Office has treated me like I have the plauge. I hope there is a higher power as the state of California has no reins on such slight practices and all complaints to them have fallen on deaf ears. Is there any justice?
