I temporarily moved across the country and rented an unfurnished room. I did not want to spend big bucks for a bed, nor did I want to spend my entire summer sleeping on the floor, so I bought the raised Aero Bed and had it delivered to my new place. I used the bed every day for 3 months, and I had no problems with it at all. I had to re-inflate it a little bit every couple of days, but it was a great solution for a temporary problem. I treated it like a regular bed. I took it with me when I moved back to California, and I didn't use it for about 3-4 months. I went on a trip to a friend's cabin and he told us to bring air mattresses. My friends were all jealous when they saw that I had a full-size bed with me. They weren't so jealous the next morning when I had sunk to the floor. The next night the same thing happened. The bed hasn't been the same since.

When i stayed at my cousins house for a few weeks she has an aero bed for me to sleep on.At first it was amazing, some of the best sleep i've ever had. However, after a week i would wake up at 4am and be sunk into the bed. I could feel the floor under my back! I had to repump it up at least twice a night which got very annoying very quick. Dont think i would buy one for constant use. But for once in awhile its fine.

I first purchased the bed in October 06. My father was using it nightly (which they said coud be done) sleeping downstairs taking care of my Mom. It was really comfy and worked well until Feb. of 07. He went to get in bed and it burst at the seem about 2 feet long. Called Aerobed. Put on hold for over 15 mins. Gave return instuctions. Sent back. Four weeks later still no replacement. Called and they "never received the return". I kept the UPS tracking and confirm receipt. Had to fax to "prove" it was returned. Magically, they found it and shipped bed #2. It lasted from April 07 until early June 07. I came home from work and the bed was low. I tried pumping it up but there was a leak around the pump and could not be repaired. Ridiculous! Called and tried to return again... 15 minutes later they picked up and again sent return instructions. A week and a half later, they shipped us bed #3. This time they sent the raised premier edition because apparently the orginal "raised" one has been discountinued. We're ready to set it up again. I have to say my Dad and I really like it. It's very comfortable. But if they say you can use it as a regular bed but then it leaks all over the bloody place, then we have a problem. I say if you are not going to sleep on it everynight, go for it. It really is quite comfortable. They need to address the problems with the leaking.

I can't believe all the issues with leaking. I have had several aerobeds...many of which have been set up for months and it takes months before I have to give it a small pump up. I have 2 dogs that are constantly jumping and rolling around...never had a puncture problem. I have serious back problems and the Raised Queen Aerobed is the place I go to get a good nights sleep (and I own some of the best innerspring, sleep number, and memory foam products).

I bought this bed when we needed something to sleep on a vacant house. The bed sprung it's first leak after several months of occasional use. It was near one of the seams, but I was able to repair it with the repair kit. This was a $300 investment, and we did use it for a little while. I would never consider purchasing another one, because it's just not worth the price. I had to put extra foam on top of the bed to make it comfortable enough for us to sleep on. We did lend this bed out to friends who were moving into their home, and had not received their furniture yet. They were happy to have something to sleep on, and it was better than sleeping on the floor. All in all, it helped us and our friends in a pinch, but it's not as comfortable or as sturdy as the commercial makes it sound.

This raised Aero bed looks great- especially when made up with a bed spread-looks like a real bed! Functionally i found it to be a disaster: the long air cushions on the sides, there to kept he bed from tilting are a hazard, not only when making the bed but when trying to get in and out of it. i have tripped over it many times. i once sat on the edge of the bed, and fell off, took quite a tumble. i think it is dangerous and have retired the bed to our attic. ok for sleep, i guess. just be careful you don't get too close the edge of mattress. an expensive disappointment.

Despite what the Aero company advertises, this bed is only to be used a couple of times a week, and not for everyday use like they they tell us. I had to buy 3 Aero beds, because all three of them sprang leaks within a month or so of having them. They told me that this bed can be used as an everyday bed. That is a lie. If used everyday, this product will leak. I wasted my money on this product. Don't be fooled. It is not a great product.

Product is great, we had a previous version and recently purchased the raised version. My son like to sleep on it more than he does his own bed.

I purchased this to have a bed for guest when necessary. I was impressed with the fact that it was up from the ground. It airs up very quickly and is very comfortable. I carry it with me when I go out of time. The older you get, the harder it is to get up off the floor. This bed is the answer. There are about 10 inch pockets on both sides that also inflate about 4-6 inches. I am not sure what purpose they serve and make the bed require more space but that is really not a problem. They probably help keep the bed from tipping, not really sure. Best purchase I ever made.

I bought this to use as an extra bed for guests and for travel. This bed is AWESOME! It is very comfortable and you can adjust how firm you want it to be. It also blows up and deflates quickly and easily. Not to be used as a regular bed, but used for a few days it it awesome! Highly recommended item!
