I have normal to oily skin thus most cleansers leave my skin feeling dirtyer then before i washed it. My sister bought philosophy line and loved it. Then of course I had to try it. It left my skin feeling clean and refreshed no oily residue! its perfect for washing off heavy make up. I would definetly reccomend this product

Philosophy products are way over priced – for what you get. I have found them to be completely ineffective. There are dollar store products that work much better, and cost a fraction of the price. Placebo Beauty Product.

I am a Philosophy customer, but when I tried the Makeup Optional skin system, I was disappointed. I always give myself 6 to 8 weeks on a product I try. My skin went backward with larger pores and irritation at the edges of my eyes and chin area. I did like the once a week peel though. I sent it back. Everyone reacts differently to things and not everyone has the same result. But I actually went back to the old system I was using Neutragena over the counter skn care. I've tried so many different things in the last year. And I had better results with this line. I learned the expensive lines are not always the best.

I used this product and was really excited to try it. I love philosophy s hair product and body gels and perfumes so i figured id be happy with this also. Wrong! I used it for a few months and all it did was make my skin break out and make my pores larger looking. I also ended up getting all kinds of discoloration on my face after using this product. They smell horrible! dont waste your money on this one!

This product did what it should, but their prices for their products are outrageous. I've stopped using their stuff because the cost is phohibitive to say the least. Most of my friends couldn't afford to pay $70/month for products to clean their face!

I was excited about the hype that I heard about this product. Unfortunately it didn't work well for me. My pores seemed enlarge, my skin became very oily, and I broke out. It took about a week for my skin to go back to normal after I stop using this product.

I love this line!! I had heard of this product, and this sounded good- so I decided to try it. My only complaint about the line is that the mousterizer doesn't have spf, you can buy one with it... My skin is soft, my brown spots are clearing up, and yes, it is make up optional, I wear none now! I have recommended it to friends and they are using this and nothing else now.

I gave this product a try.. I actually had the eight piece makeover set, so I had everything, from WHINE, to Purity made simple, to hope in a jar. All of it irritated my skin and my skin is finally clearing up through use of Proactiv & meaninful beauty. Philosophy may work for some, but for me..No.. I do like the hope in tube for around my mouth and it didn't cause any irritation.

Can't live without this! I have almost everything in this line that fits my skin type. My only complaint (warning) is that you only need a little bit of the make-up opional products (i.e., the Present clear makeup and clear powder)for it to work. Too much and you will get a white film on your skin. The instructions for use aren't that great but once you figure it out - you will be pleased and then realize the product lasts a lot longer than it's size! My face has never looked better. I'm 42 and no one believes I'm over 35. That works for me!

I teach HS marching band in S. Texas. HOT SUN for 15 YEARS. I'm 37 and have terrible sun damage around my eyes. I was terribly depressed for years and counld find anything to works..PHILOSOPHY worked for me. My skin continues to improve after 5 months of use. I feel young and energetic on the inside..and now I finally feel young again on the outside Trust PHILOSPHY!!!
