For some people, this may work but for me it really did not. I had mine plugged in for 2 months and saw NO reduction of roaches. I am very unsatisfied with this product but like I mentioned, for others, it might just work.

I tried one a few years ago to prevent ants from coming in. The ants came in anyway and not 1 foot away from where the unit was plugged in. Got rid of the ants, though, by using [].

I purchased my Pest Offense about 5 years ago and I truly believe that it has made a big difference in my bug problem. I've never had mice, so I can't comment on its effectiveness on them, but..... spiders seem to be drawn to me as I used to get lots of spider bites. Since I've been using the Pest Offense unit my problem hasn't completely stopped but it has diminished drastically. When I do find a bug, it is usually running for my patio doors to escape! Whether it is as good as they advertise, who knows? All I know is that I don't kill NEARLY AS MANY BUGS AS I USED TO!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased this product due to its promises of keeping a level of my home bug/spider/pest free. It cost roughly $50, ordered from []. I have a huge phobia of spiders so I was eager to try something that could rid my home of them. Needless to say - after two years of keeping it plugged in, I can, with conviction, state that it is nothing more than a scam. The only thing that it emits is a light that flashes on and off intermittently. The number of pests/spiders that have found their way to my home have not lessened one bit. In fact, I've even found a spider crawling around right in front of the outlet it was plugged into! So save your $50 - this is nothing more than a glorified night-light!

Waste of money. I have had this plugged it for over a year. I still see lots of bugs. This thing is a scam. There is no science behind it. Pest offence does not repel bugs or mice. It plays on the fears many of us have for bugs. Pest Offence is the most expensive night light you can buy, since that’s all it does.

I have these in my house & garage & they work great! Anyone who says they are loud are not talking about Pest Offense but another type of electronic device because Pest Offense is completely silent. I used to get opposums in my garage if the back door was left open at night & since I installed these I have not had a single one. A neighborhood home got completely torn down, trees & all & all the other neighbors started having SEVERE problems with mice & rats. I did not & when I told them to get the Pest Offense there problems stopped as well. My son bought a hobby farm last December & found mice when he was doing some work on it. He tried bait & then found dead mice a few days later when he tore out some drywall. He didn't want to be poisoning them I having dead varmits behind the wall so I told him to get the Pest Offense & voila they were gone. They get the varmits out of the house completely!

My husband and I bought this product because we felt it might be safer than sprays. We have a three year old daughter and we don't want to expose her to unsafe chemicals. I was hoping that this product would be our miracle to our pest problem. We bought several units and placed them in the living room, dining room, kitchen, bath and bedrooms. Not only did the product not work. The high-pitched noise was irritating. We had roaches take up residence inside of the products! I tried to pull it out of socket in the kitchen and a bunch of little baby roaches came running out of it! I screamed and my husband came and threw in the sink and drowned whatever else was living inside it. Don't waste your money on these useless gadgets. You'll come out better calling an exterminator if you have a pest problem!

Every winter I get mice and every summer I get ants. This product does nothing for the mice. In fact, I've seen mice hang out next to the piece of junk. I haven't had ants since I bought it, but that could be coincidental since I also used Raid in my crawl space. Just buy traps or hire an exterminator.

I purchased 2 units in 2002. One is upstairs the other downstairs. Its has work "as advertised" and still running. I do not have pest and love the fact there are no toxic chemicals. The piece of mind is worth the nominal fee.

Similar products have been sold for years, and they are always just as useless-A high-pitched buzzing noise does not drive away insects and rodents. It never has, and it never will. It will, however, drive off some people who are able to hear the freqency range that these devices put out. Try it with annoying relatives! You'll still have bugs, but maybe you'll get lucky and drive off some human pests!
