My husband and daughter thought this would be an interesting gift to get me, and now they are now forbidden from even THINKING of getting me anything else from an infomercial. When you flip the perfect pancake, all the batter comes flying out the ends. The only redeeming quality was the heart shaped batter ring, and that was hardly worth the cost of the entire thing. CRAP.

I purchased this item after I saw the infomercial. What I saw on the infomercial was definitely not what came in the box! The infomercial showed a heavy looking pan. What I got was pressed aluminum with a teflon coating. I tried it and it was awful. the only thing decent to come from it was the batter dispenser. I threw away the pan but kept the dispenser.

We only tried using this product once. When it came time to flip our pancake, most of the batter came splattering out the side of the space between the pan and the lid. What did end up making it through the flip, didn't cook so well, since the cooking surface for a pancake should really be quite hot, and the lid hadn't had a chance to preheat. We ended up removing the lid, and now use the pan to make the perfect sized 1-egg omelet..with a spatula!

Junk, don't bother. First off, when you go to turn it over, everything inside comes out, what a disgusting mess. And then only one side heats a time, so when you flip it, you have to wait for the other side to heat up. What a freakin joke. Save time and money, and don't buy this stupid crap.

If only this product worked just like on TV! When you try to flip the pancake, the batter flies out everywhere! I threw away after the first time I used it. After the first 2 failed pancakes I grabbed a spatula.

I'll just mainly echo what the first reviewer said. By the time you get enough pancakes for one plate/order, the first ones are cold. I didn't have the problem with the batter running out though.

I got this a while back maybe a couple years ago and i tried to make pancakes with it. I was very unsuccessful as the others mentioned. The pancake fell right out of it, needless to say I stopped using it. Then recently I was making grilled cheese sandwiches and this item worked very well in regards to toasting sandwiches it was able to brown both sides evenly. That is now how I use it from this point on.

This is probably the worst invention I have ever seen. When you flip the pan whatever is in it flies out all over you and the room. And hot pancake batter burns. This one went in the garbage.

What a piece of junk, I made pancakes and eggs in this, the minute you flip it, the eggs slip out of the side, and land on the floor. I do better with a spatula, and a real pan. This is the stupidest thing invented. Unless you like picking food up off the floor, I would stick to the old fashioned way!!

I bought this as a christmas gift a few years ago from a kiosk in a mall. What a piece of junk. The handle broke off on the first or second use. Avoid Avoid Avoid

This is a good product if you like cleaning. I've tried using this product over and over and its had the same problem. Everytime I try to flip it over the pancake mix shoots out the side of the "Perfect Pancake"? and ends up on the floor and wall. I like eating pancakes not painting with them. It's a terrible invention!

The thing does not close on the sides. So when I made some overeasy eggs in it, and flipped it, they flew out of the thing and landed right on the burner. Quite an interesting morning that was. Went right in the garbage after that one.

Idea is brilliant. However, when you flip it, whatever is cooking oozes through the cracks creating a big gooey mess. Wouldn't give it to my worst enemy.

Think about it folks. This thing cooks one pancake every 6 mins maximum. If a family of just 4 eats 4 each, then we're talking 96 minutes to cook all the "perfect" pancakes. That's a long time, folks... even for the "perfect" pancake.
