The first and last time I give in to an informercial, yeah, Mr. Kevin Trudeau aka the thief stole $30 hard earned bucks from me, he is the Master of Deception, he can sell you the Brooklyn bridge and ice to an eskimo, after receiving the book I noticed that I was scanned BIG TIME, he uses the book to direct you to his paid website, if you want to know the cure for go to my website, if you want to know more, go to my website and so on, when I tried returning the book, I couldnt, there is no such thing as a customer service rep, you buy it, you keep it for life, I was so upset I took the book and ripped all its pages one by one while visualizing it was Kevin's head, now he is tv again peddling another book, by the way, Mr. Trudeau was in jail for fraud, found out too late.

I'm really glad I resisted the TV ad and waited until I found a copy of this at a used bookstore for $2. Even at that it's a waste of money. When he stated that sun exposure doesn't cause cancer, sunblocks do, I knew he was a scammer. His suggestions to cleanse your liver, cleanse your colon, balance your body's pH, and stop taking all prescription and non-prescription drugs are ridiculous. His ideas may end up killing someone. He only spent a few pages on what we all know. eat healthy food in moderation and exercise. He should be in jail.

I (and many others) would give this a zero rating if we could! Please don't waste your money! There's a reason you can buy these used on [] for a few cents! There is no cure, and it's mostly anti-government conspiracy crap. I already know the government is not concerned about my health - I work in the medical field. And, if you should actually buy the books through the infomercial, be aware of the SCAM! They charge you for the books, then, without even asking, set you up for $9.95 payments per month for some newsletter that you don't even get. I am in the process of disputing this with my credit card company now (as many other people are having to do). I have had to go so far as to get a different credit card number.

6/25/2008 - Andy of New York, USA writes:
What "they" -- whomever that is -- don't want you to know is that there are no solid cures in the entire book. It's nothing but a sham and a very well-hyped conspiracy theory from someone who plays on anyone who believes in conspiracy theories. If you really want this book, you can find it at most major booksellers on their closeout table for far less than the infomercial charges. If you spend any more than 5 minutes reading it, you'll as quickly conclude that there's no substantive information of value in the entire book, and that Kevin Trudeau also has a fairly robust criminal history based on previous scams and misrepresentations. "They" don't want you to know about that either, I'd suppose. All of Trudeau's books are really suspect and are written to draw you into the conspiracy without giving you anything to take away to prove why there actually is one. AVOID.

The book has little information leading you to a website which you have to pay. DO NOT JOIN. I was never able to access my account, cancel or anything, I am being charged monthly and get no response. They are stealing from everyone, read the reviews I wish I'd seen them before.

Well my dad bought this book not sure where or how much but to me theres only a handfull of things i found intresting. Its basically a book of how everything in our current world is bad or as this idiot puts it "full of dangerous toxins" To hell with it.I found better natural remedies in a book from [].I also went to the site looking for "Natural Cures" like the book says only to find you need to pay. What a bitch. To me its almost as if this book is just someone complaining and ranting. If you enjoy reading a book written by someone with no medical, pharmacitical(spelling??)or certified expirience then this is the book for you.

I bought these Natural Cures books after the seeing the infomercial on TV where Kevin gives an example of how he got rid of joint/muscle pains of his mother by just applying something on her hand and he said all that information is in these books...total lie...I don't see any mention or anything related to that in this book...but constant bickering about FDA..FTC again and again...nothing else....I would like to thank FTC and Law for keeping this dude in place. Natural Cures website I don't know where to start...no information in this book but he has the audacity to ask readers to buy subscription to his website to get more information (another $19/month down the drain)...These books are garbage nothing more...I want 20 hours of my life back that I wasted reading this junk. I will highly advise NOT to buy these books. It is a total waste....it is not even worth if they are giving it out for FREE (but you have to pay non-refundable $9 S$H per book). They are also making money by selling your personal contact information to other companies like the ones who sell coupon books. Please don't buy this Book, it is not even worth the S$H you will be forced to pay and your time.

Kevin's book was the first eye opener for me; Prior to reading Kevin's book, I, like most avg american consumers were unaware of the deceitful acts of our governmental agencies ie FDA, FTC etc. Although he sounds like a drill sergeant in the book (can come off as being repetitive to most), I appreciate his whistle-blowing motives. Yeah, I agree he is not in this purely as a 'good samaritan' and he's probably not written his books purely from the goodness of his heart as he claims, and that he is taking advantage of this opportunity to make money off of people; having said that, I still think this is a great book to read in order to be aware of the fact that the governnmental agencies do not give a rats a** about our well being. This book has opened up my eyes and helped me to realize that as consumers, we all need to take proactive roles in our health care. If you can get pass the repetitive government bashing and sales pitches to his website/newsletter, this is a highly valuable book. After cancer had taken my mom away from me 3 yrs ago, I've been scouring the internet, visiting naturopaths, seeking out preventative medicine. After having compared my research and having spoken to many holistic health care practitioners to the content in Kevin's book, I can truthfully say that his recommendations are pretty accurate. I highly recommend this book as a starting point if you want to 'detox' your life. But like most reviewers have pointed out, its probably best to purchase a used version or buy it from a bookstore vs his website/toll free number.

Kevin Trudeau is a seemingly honest, consumer advocate. At least that's the outward appearance. I was never able to help thinking he was just a master con artist, even long before hearing any negative press about him. The book contains a great deal of useful information and some good tips regarding alternative health practices. What it does not give are any detailed cures, which is a bit dissapointing. There is much retoric and a lenghty, often redundant (although convincing) diatribe on Trudeau's conspiracy theory regarding the FDA, FTC, pharmaceutical companies, AMA, etc. I actually agree with much of what he says, but feel he overdoes it and should have focused more on specific remedies for ailments. The book reads like a lengthy advertisement for his website, where he presumably reveals the cures promised in the book for a nominal fee. I would recommend people take a look for information purposes certainly - there are many suggestions such as inversion tables, hydogen peroxide therapy, rebounders, and the like that many are probably unaware of and could benefit from. It's a good introduction and one could begin their research. But try to find a used copy and avoid the informercial route - I ordered the first book with no problems, but there is always the high pressure sales and submitting your personal information that could be avoided elsewhere.

A pile of crap, The only info in this :book: is a few addresses of companies that sell healthfoods etc, that you can get anywhere. Do not give this crook any of your money.

I ordered these books 5 months ago with the offer of FREE just pay shipping.BULL!They try selling you all kinds of extra stuff and with each I said no just the books. Now I find out that for the last 4 months they have been taking 9.95 out of my account. When I called I told her to check the recording they tell you they are doing to you when you first order. She said she can only go back 30 days and give me a refund of 9.95, not the40.00 they stole from my account! Yeah the books were free but they make out better by stealing what they want from our accounts without permission.

This book is great. Kevin Trudeau is the best. He has changed my life. I read the book three months ago. There is so much great information in it. I am still doing research on different topics. You must read the book front to back to get it. I have read it several times. I also purchased Natural Cures More Cures Revealed and I like it even better. It tells you better where to go to get information. Thank you Kevin Trudeau for changing my life for the better.

He is a scam artist. I ordered the books which even beofre they arrived I was being billed $10 monthly! If his products were so damn good they would not do this! When I called to cancell the charge I had to listen to 20 minutes of BULL on other products if I had no integrity I could make a lot of money. I wonder how he sleeps at night.

This is a real scam – I don’t usually fall for scams, but I figured ….It’s a book. How much of a scam could it be ? Boy, Was I Wrong ! I didn’t expect that this book would be a cure-all. But I did expect to get (at least) a few suggestions on Natural Cures – as the book title suggests. This Book provides absolutely NO information. - When I called to order, I was barraged with sales pitches, for other products.- When the book did arrive, there is NO information at all. - You will be automatically billed every month for a subscription to his newsletter. - The newsletter is a few Xeroxed paged of crap – that tells you that you must pay for website access (to his site) to find out what the cure is. A complete Scam ! He should be in Prison – Not making millions!

Kevin Trudeau is an unabashed con artist. The book does not tell you anything that you can't find for free elsewhere. He seems to claim that people could give up their medications by following the books. THIS IS DANGEROUS! Please help yourself and do a google search on "Kevin Trudeau". Wikipedia will tell you all you need to know about this thief and con man!

7/1/2007 - Lisa of Ohio, USA writes:
Trudeau is a sham! I bought this stupid book thinking I'd find a fact or two- I bought both the original natural cures, and the 'more' natural cures revealed books. They are full of instructions on what to do, but never why. He spends pages droning on about how 'food has energy' on page 267 (no shit, stupid), and how politicians care nothing for you (he spends the entire chapter titled 'not convinced?' naming names). What is not in the book is any reason to try any of his 'cures'. The book is also typically full of brand name product drops and lists of people that Trudeau thinks he is better than (Pg 453 discusses how his dumb ass sued the FTC and he is now king of the known universe). DON'T BUY THIS FOR ANY REASON! ~ANY free brochure in a food co-op or health food store will teach you more about what your body needs... honestly.

What a SCAM. He bascially wrote this book to get rich. When you order you receive a free week to their website. I cancelled before the week was up and they are continuously taking my 5.95 per month, so far 23.80. I have sent them numerous e mails to cancel, some nice and some not so nice and I still have not heard back from anyone. Finally today I have to go to my bank and cancel out my bank account, as I should not have to do this, but since there are dishonest people out there, it is a must. I called the 800 number on my bank statement and they state they have been having phone modification for the past two weeks and I would not be able to reach anyone at this time (sure they are). This author should be ashamed of himself for screwing the public. His books are a joke as well. They are awful.

I preferred the CD's to the book -I listened to the CD's on a very long road trip. These CD's encouraged me to make some lifestyle changes, and medical issues have gone away! My family calls me Ms. Green - but am presently free of medical ailments. Pharmaceutical companies may have to re-think the way they do business if more and more people read this book. I recently purchased The weight loss cure they don't want you to know about. After you read these books - you will understand why you have ailments. I now read the label of everything I purchase - I couldn't believe all the antifreeze (glycol propylene) that goes into our packaged foods and cosmetics. It is really hard to find products free of this ingredient oh yes - corn syrup is another biggie - it is in everything--very addictive! We are the only industrial country that still puts the growth hormone into our milk - - if you are going to buy milk - purchase organic milk!!!! The book can be repetitious- but I believe this repetition kind of drills things into your head so you won't forget important points. This book opened the door for further research. I have since found better products, better ways to incorporate a healthy lifestyle. When my friends and I discuss health topics, foods, etc., we just ask ourselves "What would Kevin do?" :)
