Not one in a million

7/22/2008 - Jally of PA, USA writes:

I am not going to use all caps because last time, it did not show my review. I saw this Ad on TV. The old lady is my favorite infomercial actress. This product is not. it seems like you could not use it for a real reminder, but more to keep your table stable when it rocks. Even then, it is of questionable quality.I would give it to my child, but he may choke on it because it is smaller than a busines card. I would put my grocery list on it, but i realized that it is less embarassing to walk around with a piece of paper. And if I so choose, i can get a piece of paper smaller than a business card. AND Possibly in exciting colors. Fancy writing if I feel like it. In closing, the old lady seems sicere. I actually believe that she could not find her car. I must admit that I have lost my car more than once.

Awful!

3/26/2008 - Tim of Illinois, United States writes:

This had to be the worst thing I have ever bought. I returned it and cost me money to return it! The sound sucked, short recording time, and overpriced for this. Here's an idea that I came up with last night. It's called pen and paper!

Please don't buy

1/14/2008 - Betsey of Kentucky, USA writes:

The sound on the play back is horrible. It erases the previous recording. Only 20 seconds of record time. You would be better off buying a mini tape recorder. Terrible product.

junk

10/15/2007 - John of Florida, USA writes:

this little reminder is crap i ain,t sending it back it ain,t worth the trouble the playback is a joke on the commercial they make it sound loud. This company is in the shipping and handling business. This commercial should be taken off tv besides you can buy it at any walgreens with no shipping remember [] has a as seen on tv section and they will refund your money with no hassle.

Piece of Junk

7/25/2007 - Don of North Carolina, USA writes:

This is a piece of junk. It recorded evrything just fine. But you need a ear aid when you play back. We sent both back and recieved a refund. Next time we will check this web site for ratings.

Not worth the price

7/19/2007 - Jack of Ontario, Canada writes:

Before deciding whether to buy the product, I looked it up on the internet, as well as looking up the product they compared it to on the commercial (I used the PAUSE feature on my TV to view the details closely). Their "basic" unit is advertised on TV. It is capable of storing 20 seconds of messages according to their website. But they don't tell you that when you call to order, they try to upgrade your order to the "deluxe" model (which can record 60 seconds of memos) that costs quite a bit more. They also indicate in small print on their ad and website that you pay P&H (postage and handling) on BOTH recorders -- including the one that comes "free" with your order. So, if you decide to return the units, you're still on the hook for about $12 in handling fees. And what about the unit they compare it to on the commercial. Well, when I looked up the item today on the internet, it was sold out (but had a selling price of $62). But it is capable of recording 27 HOURS of memos. Not exactly comparing apples to apples. The moral is: if you have access to the internet, do your homework, and compare products carefully before making your purchase decision.

The funeral was on Monday

4/2/2007 - Bob of Ohio, USA writes:

My wife had problems remembering what to get if she went out shopping so I bought her this item. The sound was low for the most part, but it recorded fine. On Friday I told my wife that she urgently had to get her medication from the pharmacy because it was running out. She recorded the message on her recorder (I saw her do it), and she returned later that night telling me that she couldn't play back what was on the recorder. It was too late to go to any pharmacy because they were all closed. My wife didn't get her medication. The funeral was Monday.

Total Rip-Off

3/14/2007 - Barry of Wyoming, USA writes:

It is cheaply built and you need a hearing aid to hear it. I tried to return it and they wanted to charge me approximately $14 to return it. It cost less than $2 to mail it to me and I had to pay return shipping.

Works for me

2/28/2007 - Martha of South Carolina, USA writes:

The product worked well once I figured out how to use it. Not so the horrible web site that charged me for 2 of the same items at 2 different prices. I'm in the process of mailing back the unopened, unwanted second box, having to pay return postage and hope that my credit card will be refunded. There is an air of chicanery about the enterprise that makes me doubt a smooth passgae. Too bad because the basic idea is a good one.

My Li' Rip-Off

2/21/2007 - Jay of Virginia, USA writes:

My aged parents bought this crappy product and were charged $19.99, not the advertised $9.99. The "get one for free" come on was also false. Their total bill for "two" what turned out to be sets of "deluxe" devices (4 total) came to $69 w/ S/H. They are protesting the charge with their credit card company and when they called the customer service department the rep hung up on them. First, she explained the charge was for the "deluxe" model. No where did my parents hear or read about any deluxe model. RIP OFF!!!

Totally Worthless

2/3/2007 - Anonymous of Georgia, USA writes:

I received this 'piece of junk' as a Christmas gift. It is very true that it is "the thought that counts." Please do not waste your money on this product. You can only store 1 message on the device and when you play back the message you have to practically stick the thing inside your ear to hear it. Again. Please Do Not Waste Your Money On This Product.

not that great

2/2/2007 - Carolyn of Virginia, USA writes:

I bought a set of these for xmas for my husband, who can't remember anything, and myself. The keychain part comes off so I lost mine about 2 weeks after i bought them. Now his recorder won't record any new messages. great concept, but not worth the money.

Very Bad Quality Item!

1/24/2007 - Gary of California, USA writes:

I was hoping this little recorder would work. The concept is great and it would be a simple to operate digital recorder if it worked properly - just what i like. What a horrible way to do business. First they double charge s&h fees then send me a product where both units are defective! Both units would not retain voice messages. I will try and get a refund if possible.

A total Waste of money

1/23/2007 - Rich of Michigan, USA writes:

I just received this product and it is absolutely worthless. My hearing is excellent and I could hardly hear what I had recorded. And it does not make any difference how close you are to the unit when recording. It is very cheaply made for what you pay for it.I could buy a good flashlight for what this costs. The light on this is just as worthless as the product itself

Worthless

1/15/2007 - Les of Tennessee, USA writes:

Bought My Lil' Reminder and found it to be a worthless piece of junk. Would not record for more than 8 or 9 seconds. Might be worth something as a flashlight, but they are cheaper. Don't waste your money.

My Lil Piece of Junk

1/14/2007 - Jill of New Jersey, USA writes:

This is a very lightweight, cheesy piece of plastic with a crappy voice recorder inside. It is so bad, you can barely recognize your own voice! The "light" feature might be useful, if you were trying to use your keys in the dark and holding the thing an inch from the lock. Do yourself a favor and if you want to buy it as a gag gift, they have them in the dollar store!

Don't waste your money!

12/28/2006 - Trevor of Minnesota, USA writes:

This product is NOT worth the price at all! Even without the s/h price, I still would never buy it again. I've had it for three days and let me warn you, it is poorly made of lightweight plastic, it's not an item to be kept in a woman's purse, as my wife's has already broken. And the sound quality is awful, I litterally had the thing pressed up against my ear in order to kind of make out the message my son had left for me on it. Stick to small notepads and pens, you will have far less aggrivation.
