I bought the product and used it on different surfaces. It will not hold a plant hanger to a cement wall. It will not hold a piece of ceramic tile to a wood floor. I followed the directions exactly as written. And all that kneading is hard on the hand too.

I bought this product because I wanted to use it on drapery hardware to fuse it to the wall where the hardware keeps falling out when using anchors. Well to my surprise the mighty putty does not fuse the hardware on wall as seen on tv it fuses hardware in an instant on a brick wall and a shelf is put up in a flash. It took a good 20 min to dry. When I hung the drapes and rod on the hardware they fell off the wall. I never believed the pulling of the Mack truck either! But I was hopeful that "mighty putty" could work on a simple task. Well, lets just say my mighty putty wasn't mighty at all. I could have purchased epoxy at [] or [] for less! You suck mighty putty!

I ordered this product in the ending of Dec 07. I needed it to repair some household items. In the ending of Jan 08 I had not recieved my order yet. I called and they told me that it takes 4 to 6 weeks I said ok I still had time before we moved out (our move out date was mid-Feb). I read another review saying that I could just go to any hardware store and buy the same stuff cheaper. I went to the hardware store and sure enough it was there for $5. I bought it because it was a 3 days before our move out date and I still had not recieved my order. I called again after we moved on Feb 19 08 and they said it was on back order. So I waited again for my order finally in the middle of March 08 I realized that I still had not gotten my order I called to cancel my order. Dont order this product online just go to [] they sell it there.

i bought this item for a few things around the house. It didn't work for anything! it couldn't hold up a paper towel holder. it couldn't hold part of my kitchen cabinet together. I could see where it would work to stop leaks though if thats what your looking to do.

Pro's Works in some applications. Can sand after it dries Con's Short shelf life. Often fails when you expect it to hold. Worrisome odor (toxic?). If you use this be sure to use gloves. I'd bet the company will disappear if safety issues arise.

But this stuff works.....so far. I usually don't believe those infomercials, but we had a leak in the basement floor at 2 small spots so we tried it. We've tried every adhesive/sealant available at those [], but no luck. So far....knock wood (or putty), it's been holding the leak pretty well..... Damn....can't believe I just wrote that.....

Not only does it stink, it wouldn't even hold a hook on the wall to hold a towel. I would not recommend this product at all.

This product is actually in existence under the name JB Weld, and is much cheeper at your local auto parts store. It comes in a few different types depending on the job at hand. It is not that Mighty Putty does not work, it is just that it is over priced, and they charge way too much on shipping. You can get at least double the quantity per dollar value at your local store. Also, it has been reported on other sites that it may take several months to actually get your order of Mighty Putty!

Mighty putty does what it says it will do. I have had it holding up a towel rack in my shower for 3 years now and it's still holding fine. I have repaired furniture with it and it was sandable and easier than wood glue. I only found one instance where it didn't hold up an that was holding an ironing board hook up on a painted cinderblock wall. It fell after a month or two. Now the wall might have been dirty so it might not be Mighty Putty's fault there. I highly recommend it. It's good to keep them in several places, the car/garage/kitchen/RV...

I ordered this product to work on summer projects and so far it hasn't let me down but the only negative thing about this product is that the smell was terrible and made me sick I don't know if it was just me or if it has some sort of a stinky toxic smell. But I would recommend this product for anyone that's willing to hold whatever your gluing for 20 to 25 minutes.

A friend of mine bought it and I was curious to compare it to similar stuff I bought at a []. It works but no better than what I can by over the counter and I don't have to wait for shipping. The other thing you need is common sense. It "might" hold the weight it claims but your typical wall won't (drywall). It is your basic epoxy mix.

I was highly skeptical, but had not managed to find an adhesive that was waterproof in regular hardware stores. It is very easy to use compared to conventional two-tube epoxies, and provides sufficient adhesion to allow you to hold pieces to be glued in place by hand without the need for clamping. My first three uses of this have been essentially perfect. So far (after a month's experience) it seems to be all it is cracked up to be.
