Well, the cup is leaking when pad is moved even a little bit. If you did not tight the cup hard it leaks as well. Easy to wash, but very cheap like a toy.

I bought my Magic Bullet about 3 years ago, buy one get on e free...I didn't give it away, took one to work and one at home. This is the very best kitchen appliance I have! I use them BOTH every single day of the year. It is easy and safe, my kids use it daily for thei smoothies. I was afraid that it woul crap out on me so I bought a 3rd one (just in case, cause I cannot be without it!)It is still in the cabinet, I have had no need to use it since my other two are cranking along! They take up almost no space and work better than any blender I have ever had! Granted we use it primarily for smoothies and shakes, coffee beans, cinnamon stix, and the blending process is generally more than 10 seconds as claimed, and the lid will loosen if you hold it too long, that can be a nasty mess, however, I don't take issue with a few revolutions and a lid check. I can live with those minor inconveniences. I love it, can't live without it and have bought several as gifts over the years, and they love it! Don't buy off the infomercial tho...you can find deals all over the place for this little guy...and [] is a great source for buying more cups or lids, or blades if you need them.

It cuts the food up too much and does not get everything I've tried onions and it puree's 1/2 the onion and leaves the other half in big chunks, did the same to strawberries the ones on the bottom mushed too a liquid the ones on top stayed whole. not worth the money and does not cut up ice. save your money!

I saw the commercial for this product and was like, wow, need something to make drinks and do what it wants and didn't want the mess. I had problems with blenders before and not chopping ice and thought what the hell, lets try it. It was the deal when you get 2 for a great price. I bought one for myself, and one for my mom as a x-mas gift. It doesn't take much space, and was good since coul mix and serve in the same cup. I had heard others have lots of problems with the rubber ring breaking. Mine lasted a long time before it broke and I used it alot. Like many smoothies a day and not just for myself. It does a great job at mixing and crushing the ice. You do have to adjust it a bit I find. not 100% like the commercial, you do have to fine tune it a bit as ice and temp and things different in each area does affect it. I found that the best is to do small bits and add more liquid then it says. Sometimes have to mix it a few extra times, but it did a good job of mixing all incredients. My mom uses it alot too. The only thing I found, it my rubber black ends of the blades did wear down too fast and this made it so I couldn't use it. I am waiting to try to get replacement part so can continue.

I don't understand why any idiot would buy this. Take a blender, then make it so small that you can only fit about a fifth of the capacity of a normal blender in it. Use a terrible motor that will burn out if you leave it on for more than a few seconds, and make it so it only has one speed setting. Then charge as much or more than the cost of the real blender you started with!

We bought this product to puree small amounts of food for our 6-month old. It didn't survive the minimal amount of green beans I was working on. I read the directions and didn't run the motor longer than 7 seconds at a time - I watched my watch! The green beans were EXTREMELY chunky and it started smoking! I ended up taking out and using my big blender to finish the job. I'm happy to say it goes back to [] today.

I kept seeing the informercials but never actually bought one. My (then fiance) mentioned to his family that I wanted a Magic Bullet and Presto! I got one for Christmas! I was sooo excited to use it! I wanted to make the process of making a salad more simple without all the chopping (especially the onions!) so I put the veggies in the bullet and it turns right to mush. And yes, I did use the right blade! So now this "wonderful" product is wasting shelf space because I can't bring myself to throw it away or even give it away! I suppose it may work for smoothies and other drinks but do NOT expect it to chop your veggies!!!

I don't understand the bad reviews. Maybe I was just lucky and got the winning bullet but I love my magic bullet. We saved the cost of the machine on the very first day we got it. I have had mine for almost 1 year now and have had no problems what so ever. We are avid [] drinkers and this machine makes the most awesome frapichinos (not spelled right-but I drink them not spell them). We use it to make queso and make shakes. I use it to chop veggies for my diet and don't know how I'd get along without it. If anything ever happened to mine I would be right back to the store to buy another in a minute. I love how you can make things individual for each person in the house and the space saving it is compared to dragging out a big ole blender. A Must Have for any kitchen. Love It, Love It, Love It!!!!!!

We tried it with various vegetables, thought it would be great for chopping onions and cilatro. The blades barely touched the onion,. After pressing 2-3 times, we had to shake the cup and then try again. Lets just say that I do better with a knife and chopping board. The Bullet is not able to pull down the food item or mix it will. Its a good idea that doesnt produce!

I actually picked this one up at []. I love this product. I make homemade baby food for my 9 month old and it is perfect for this. I have had no problems with it. It is also great to make personal smoothies, dips, and other purees. I can't wait to try out a hummus. Worth every penny!

I bought this product, not off the informercial, because that's a ripoff, but at a store for $40.00. I bought primarily for smoothies, which I have every morning, and for that alone, it's great. It makes exactly one smoothie in exactly ten seconds and that is what I wanted, nothing more. It is not well built, but it does fine for the intended purpose - SMOOTHIES, that's all.

I bought my magic bullet off the TV as an impulse one morning while my husband was asleep. It seemed liked a wonderful, unique addition to my kitchen appliance collection. Well, I ordered it and shipping was outrageous - and then they told I had to buy TWO magic bullets. Why? So I could give one to a friend. I thought that was strange, but bought it anyway and gave one to my mother. It took 6 weeks to arrive and the first couple of times it worked wonderfully and my husband wasn't as mad at me when he used it. It was actually very fun to use. But, if you read the directions, it says not to have it on for more than like, 6 or 7 seconds or the engine thing on the inside will burn out. But after a while, it just stopped working altogether. We couldn't figure it out. And since we didn't buy the $80 warranty from the company, they wouldn't fix it. Oh, and the one I gave to my mom and dad worked once and then never came back on again. Rip off!

Nothing like the ad. I couldn't even crush graham crackers without the crackers getting stuck in the blade a 100 times. It never can crush anything hard like ice, cheese or coffee beans. The only thing it's good for is crushing whole tomatoes into puree.

I have had my Magic Bullet for about six months. I love it for certain chores. It makes a mean fruit smoothie. I use it a lot for making graham cracker crust and breading for fried foods. It does have a tendency to mush certain items (cheese and onions come to mind) Milk shakes are great as well. I have also tried to get some replacement parts from the company and that is next to impossible. I did find a good source at [] reasonable prices and fast shipping. Overall I would give the Magic Bullet 4 out of 5 stars. Nothing is quite as easy as the infomercial shows. I do get get a kick out of Vermon and Hazel.

I have had my Magic Bullet for 3-4 years. I have made shakes, baby food, drinks, ton of stuff in it. I used it so much I had to get a new blade, which since it was within the first year under warranty it was replace without hassel! My friends want one after using mine.

so, me and my mom decided to order this product. we got it and we found out that it was totally different than we expected. it was so bad, and we always wanted to make smoothies but there were always chunks left in the bottom. and there was no way to wash the mixer its self, so when we accidentally spilled it just turned smelly and moldy.

My mother gave the Magic Bullet to me as a Christmas gift because I will be having bariatric surgery in a few months. After surgery, I will need a machine which can make small portions of very thoroughly pureed food, and the Magic Bullet does that task very well. This is the main good aspect of this machine. However, if you are looking for a blender which chops, grinds, or does anything but make frozen drinks, smoothies, soups, and guacamole, please look elsewhere! This machine does a horrible job with onions- you end up with a combo of puree and giant chunks which doesn't make for good cooking. Overall, unless you need it for pureeing or drinks/shakes, do not buy it.

Don't waste your money. I waited about 6 months before getting one as a Christmas present. First, it does NOT work like it does on the infomercial. I tried 6 recipes, and while they tasted good, the ingredients were totally mush, or not fully chopped. And, yes, I followed the directions to a T, using the exact ingredients, amounts, the cup specified, and the blade specified.

this grinder does nothing like the ads show on tv tried cheese what a waste of time turned into a blob easier to chop with a knife this product is only good for liquids a waste of money

I just finished making a HUGE bowl of salsa for my new years eve party. It saved me hours of chopping. Use a little veggies at a time and it wont come out like baby food. Took about 20 minutes to make. Already my salsa was a big hit at the office Christmas party! I had a unit back in 2005 and the motor burned out real fast. I called and they sent me a new one in days. Since then I have had no problems with it. It also makes GREAT milkshakes. I don't use it to juice though. But if you are a fan of salsa, this machine is a time saver BIG TIME! I highly recommend it.
