These glasses are not worth $5.00 had two pairs frames broke on both. Second pair had 1 month frames broke. Needless to say i will never purchas another pair at $40 way over priced.

UPDATE: I got the clipons; the [] I have are well made, cheaper, and cut more glare than the Illuminators. I bought 2 clipons; one arrived broken. This is a battle not worth fighting; I have learned my lesson and will not purchase any product sold through TV informercials.

I purchased 2 pairs of these back in 2004. They worked great for the most part, and the glare reduction was good (I'm an avid fisherman as well). Just over a year later, both sets were broken in the usual spot just to the side of the nose piece on top. These have been sitting around my house broken now for 2 years, and I've finally decided to try and get them replaced under warranty (also purchased the 7-year warranty). I tried calling the 800 number on my invoice, but it not longer works. I will attempt to contact them by other means.

I have two pair for car and travel and love them. I have given them as gifts and they are everything that they say that they are. I have had great service with fast replies. The lenses are fantastic and I am totally satisfied with both the product and the service. Highly recommended.

Do not listen to the complaints about the quality of the glasses. Both my parents have the sunglasses as well as my wife and I. We have had them for over two years and not one of us has had a problem and we all use them EVERYDAY. As far as the customer service I can't speak for that as I have never had a problem with my glasses to complain about!!
Great lenses, cheap frames

I love the lenses and they do everything as described in the infomercial. My main complaint about Luminator sunglasses is the cheap plastic frames. I have ordered two pairs on two occasions over the last couple of years, and each frame has broken from everyday use on the left lense near the bridge. They either need to reinforce the plastic frames or use metal frames to make it a sturdier product. All in all, I give the lenses 5 stars and the frames generous 2 stars.

I purchased my first pair in 2005 and wore them almost all the time. I live in Florida, and spend alot of time on the water,both backwaters and offshore.Protection from the suns glare and being able to see fish in the water are very important.I am completely satisfied with the quality of the lens and frame. After losing my first pair, I purchased a second pair, and received them in one week.

I am very pleased with my Luminator glasses. They arrived within a few weeks and I have been wearing them ever since. My friends and family have tried them on and the first words out of their mouths is "WOW !!", just like on the commercial. My boyfriend and mother both want a pair for Christmas. They are soothing to the eyes and I can see clearly through them in fog or extreme sun. I highly recommend this product.
I don't go out without them!

I have worn my Luminators every day since I received them about 2 years ago and they are superb! Whether it is sunny or overcast, I can see more clearly and as advertised, colors are not changed like other polarized or non-polarized sunglasses can do. They are a joy to wear while driving my car and I don't drive without them in the day and especially at sunset... Great Product!

These are the BEST sunglasses I have found ANYWHERE to wear with contact lenses, really cut down on the glare and make driving much easier...know I would just like to find the clip-ons!!!

I purchased the Luminator Glasses a year ago. Because they were not comfortable to wear I returned them right away. I never received a refund and when I emailed the company, I was told they never received the glasses. I sent them another email, and did not receive a response!

I ordered 2 sets of sunglasses one for my wife and one for me (clip-on style). Never recieved the clip-ons. Dozens of attempts to contact them through email and phone have been unsuccessful. My wifes sunglasses are far less than what they're advertized as. The local 5 & dime kids glasses are better quality and you can mickey mouse on them. Which is better than the village people cop they used on there infomercial.

The glasses aren't that great. They are light weight and don't last that long and when I contacted the company for a replacment (we bought the life-time warranty) they were returned as the company had moved. We found another address, sent them in and haven't heard a word - that's been several months ago.
