Great

4/27/2008 - Debbie of FL, USA writes:

Love the Little Giant. Not as lite as they made it seem. Still love it. Because of the weight is why I rated this as 4 stars not 5. The woman on the commerical moved it with ease.

A solid product!

11/14/2007 - Tim of Colorado, USA writes:

After using a neighbor's Little Giant ladder we purchased a 26' one of our own and we love it. It's HEAVY but more stable than other step ladders we've had in the past. All joints appear to be welded rather than riveted as are some of the other ladders that compete with the Little Giants. One thing we noticed when shopping around is that the prices appear to be tightly controlled with prices being virtually identical everywhere we looked. We also found that most of the vendors offered a factory demo ladders t a discount and as with the prices, the discount amount seemed to be the same regardless of the vendor. We love our ladder and while it certainly wasn't cheap we feel the quality justified the price.

Excellent ladder!

10/18/2007 - Larry of California, USA writes:

I've used my 26 foot Little Giant Ladder for almost 3 years and consider it the best and most versatile stepladder I've ever owned. Its widely spaced legs and sturdy locks make it very stable; as a 70+ yr. old that's important because a fall could be disabling to me. I've never been able to use it as an extension ladder, however, because in this configuration it is too heavy to raise into position. The 26 footer is a mans ladder as an average sized woman would not be strong enough to handle it. At almost 60 lb. the ladder is too heavy to carry any distance. Therefore I fabricated a two-wheel dolly that I can place under the top end. This allows me to move it with little effort all around our 1.5 acre yard. Once it's fully raised, though, it is hard to move the stepladder into a new position a few feet away - because of its weight. I see that the manufacturer has added wheels to one side to remedy this. It amazes me how I can work up close to walls or on stairs by adjusting the lengths of the stepladder's legs. Recently I found that it has become more difficult to extend and close my well-used ladder. The sliding surfaces may need a waxing to fix this.

Get the Wheel Kit

8/27/2007 - Paul of Florida, USA writes:

I never worry about the stability of this ladder and use it often. The tradeoff is the weight; it is heavy. The company sent me a flyer for a two wheel kit for the ladder which I bought and installed. The wheels are good quality and I can pull the ladder easily over grass as well as indoors without worry they will damage any type of floor surface. The kit even included the drill bit! Installation was easy and I highly recommend the wheel kit to ease transport of the ladder.

Extremely Heavy, and Cumbersome!

6/10/2007 - Andy of Missouri, USA writes:

I've got the Model 26, the biggest one they have. This thing has to weigh 75 to 100 lbs. It is absloutely impossible for one person to move this thing around effectively, or use this as anything other than a step ladder at the smaller heights. My advice is to just get a normal extension ladder if you want one this tall.

Top Quality!

5/23/2007 - Laurence of New Mexico, USA writes:

Ordered my Little Giant (26 foot model) from the infomercial. There were no surprises. Price was as related to me on the phone and shipping was included. Item received in a bit more than a week. The ladder performs exactly as advertised and is the best, most stable ladder I have used in my 72 years. It is heavy but I can and do handle it with no problems.

Great Ladder, but Heavy

4/3/2007 - Linda of Colorado, USA writes:

I love this ladder! I am afraid of heights, and live in a house with 2 sets of stairs, and 17 ft ceilings in the living room. My old ladders used to scare me to death, but I feel safe and secure on the Little Giant. My favorite part is the way I can configure it to accomodate the stairs. The only downside is that this is a really heavy piece of equipment. I am a middle aged lady and it is kind of hard to set up by myself, but I manage it anyway. I think the extra work is worth the quality of the product.

I love Ny Little Giant

10/29/2006 - Paul of New Jersey, USA writes:

The Little Giant does all that it says it does. I am especially impressed with how much it holds. I weigh over 380 pounds and I feel very safe on it even though it weight capacity is suppose to be only 300 pounds. The only thing that I disagree with the infomercial on is, that it is rather heavy and is not that easy to carry up and down stairs under your arm.

It is heavier than the infomercial indicates

4/27/2006 - Carol of California, USA writes:

Except for the weight, I love my Little Giant Ladder. The older woman in the infomercial carrying the ladder up stairs with one hand obviously isn't carrying the 17 inch ladder. Using the Little Giant web page, I ordered a demo model. It had a couple of dings and the feet weren't perfectly clean -- but the price made up for that. Ladders are not expected to remain pristine after use anyway.

ALMOST as advertised

4/9/2006 - Sean of Texas, USA writes:

This ladder does everything it claimed to do on the infomercial: extends, compacts, easy to store. However, the commercial shows a person carrying the ladder up the stairs with ease, while in reality it weighs down like a safe. In fact, it weighs more than all my old ladders combined.

Fabulous, Useful Product

4/8/2006 - Guang of Tennessee, USA writes:

The Little Giant Ladder itself is a fantastic, versatile product. After we bought it we found that relatives and friends borrowed it more than we actually used it. Everyone of them confirmed what we already knew to be true: this is an amazingly useful ladder that can put you into places you may previously have found difficult to reach. The only product downside is that the ladder is heavy and you must wear gloves when adjusting it to avoid pinching your hands. This ladder has become an intrinsic part of the extended family's "tool kit."

Worth every Penny

3/5/2006 - Darryl of Georgia, USA writes:

I ordered the Model 21 and got rid of every ladder I had. Quite versatile and easy to figure out. Be careful though, the ladder is heavy. The ONLY drawback is its weight otherwise well worth every penny.

The best little ladder

1/20/2006 - David of California, USA writes:

I bought the 17' version of this about 3 years ago, and I've never looked back. This thing is GREAT. It compacts to 4' and it's light, so I can bring it in and out of the garage OVER my motorcycle, and then set it up in seconds. Since either leg can be adjusted to any height, I've used it on stairs, and angled it so it was flush to a wall so I could work on crown molding. I love it. Now I just wish I could find the tallest version for a lower price :)

Best ladder in the World

1/16/2006 - William of North Dakota, USA writes:

I use this ladder every single day in my line of work. I install DirecTV systems and it is used all the the time instead of my 6ft A frame and my 28ft extension ladder. Everyone should get one of these ladders.

Outstanding Product

1/7/2006 - Dave of Arizona, USA writes:

I have owned one for over 10 years. I first saw the ladder at a Home and Garden show in Phoenix. One of the sales people in the trade booth area was a very large man. He made the ladder seem extremely safe and easy to use. I purchased one and took it home with me the same day. I am not a small person either(300+ pounds) and was always leery of stepping up on ladders. This is the ONLY ladder I have ever used that I have felt safe on regardless of the height. The ladder is sturdy, easy to use and has never given me a problem. It is everything it says it is on the infomercials and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. While the price is higher than most ladders, I consider it one of the best investments I've ever made.

Its True!

1/6/2006 - Paul of Arizona, USA writes:

After watching the infomercial several times, I finally purchased the product shown. Actually, I purchased the largest home use ladder, the 26' unit. Other than the weight, 53lbs, the product is phenominal. The ad did not overstate the product ease of use, features, etc. To endorse this product simply by saying you need one is understated. I have never found a ladder a safe and secure as a Little Giant. The investment is well placed.

A Solid Purchase

11/23/2005 - Erika of Wisconsin, USA writes:

I think this ladder seems very sturdy and stable (although I have never been at the top of the ladder, just peered up from the bottom--I hate heights). However, the ladder has many bizare configurations, which does make it difficult to put together by yourself. And, unless you are an Olympic weightlifter, forget about moving it on your own.

Awesome

Been in the Air Force for 18 years and this is the only ladder that we use. Very versatile and sturdy just like the infomercial.

Wonderful

8/10/2005 - Carrie of Virginia, USA writes:

My husband loves this ladder. We no longer need any other ladder. Our painter prefered to use our ladder than his. It does all it says, too bad all infomercial products are not like this. The only draw back is that it is not as light weight as they would have you believe.
