Product Description
Lens Doctor (also spelled Lens DRx) is a chemical solution that claims to instantly fill surface imperfections. According to the manufacturer, "the secret is the space-age clear polymer that fills microscopic scratches and imperfections on the surface of the lens, then dries to a hard protective surface." Lens Doctor can be used on glasses, goggles, and more. Check below for Lens Doctor reviews.

Completely worthless. It does not do what is claimed. Thank God the cleaner removed the foggy haze film left on the glasses after the liquid polymer is applied. The product is one of the worst I have seen to date. This product should be taken off the shelf and the BBB should shut down the company. A complete waste of time and money. Don't buy it. Everyone who has submitted a review is correct except for the crazy two who think it works. I think they may be working for LensDR. If I could rate it zero stars I would.

I bought this product to use on an older pair of glasses as a last. The glasses had been dropped; the right lens had a deep scratch and both lenses had multiple small scratches. Lens Doctor couldn't fix the deep scratch/goudge, but it did make it less noticeable, and the small scratches were vertually gone! I can use the old glasses as a spare set, and I'm happy I bought Lens Doctor.

UPDATE: In addition, I just found out that I wasted $14.35 that will not be refunded. I did the rush delivery which was an extra $5.95 added on to the $2.95. I had to pay $5.45 to have it sent back. They could have at least credit my account and allow me to keep the product so it wouldn’t cost me anything like other companies usually do when they know their products suck. As you can see, I was at a lost. I ended up paying out the product cost in shipping and handling. Moreover, the customer service representative didn’t have a good attitude.

This product is truly misleading. It does not work. It is a waste of your money and time. This product should be discontinued. It's a rip-off. I bought it for my mother's glasses and it made them cloudy. However, I was able to remove the cloudy look with the cleaner. As for the scratches that's another story.

Wish I had discovered this web site before I bought, even had it shipped to London. It does not work, left a rainbow effect on my lenses. Please do not buy this product.

Horrible product. I came across this site, looking for hints on how to get this stuff off my glasses. It has ruined them. The longer it is on your glasses, the worse they get. I can hardly see out of them.

I was trying to get info on how to correct the milky finish the product left on my lenses and found this site - I wasted 15 bucks and ruined a 500 dollar pair of glasses which only had minor scratches I hope I've learned my lesson to research first! Too bad I already left a positive review on [].

I was going to buy some of this but your comments saved me $$$, thanks for adding your comments. Sometimes it pays to read these things

Don't even bother buying iit. I bought it because I had a scratch in one lense. But you can't use it on anti-glare lenses! Who DOESN'T have anti-glare lenses?

i tried this product it was a total rip off this crap makes the lenses worse instead of better this product is a total scam the owners should be boiled in oil for cheating me out of my hard earned money

Why do i do these things? I should have known this stuff was junk! Thats the way I feel about this product.I'v been wearing glasses for 42 years even the eye doctors have told me they cant even buff out scratches without changing the perscription of the lens. I am angry and dissapointed I dont have the money for a lawyer but if I did I feel this would be a lawsuit wearth persuing.

Same as the other reviews. It leaves a gloudy layer on the glasses. I tried to apply it in several ways........

11/25/2007 - Curtis of California, USA writes:
I bought this crap to cover the scratches on my wife's glasses with high expectations, only to be profoundly disappointed. I followed the instructions verbatim and had terrible results. The solution left a thin film all over the lens that looked like someone put strips of plastic on them. After the first application failed, I cleaned the solution off the lens with lens cleaner and tried again. I got the same result. The only thing that I got out of this product was a mess. Save your money and your time. Avoid this product. Some of these infomercials are extremely persuasive and misleading. I would love to read any positive reviews (not written by the manufacturer or their reps) on this product. I'm returning it ASAP to [] where I bought it.

Another T.V. fraud, Does not work at all, left a cloudy haze on the lense did not remove any scratchs at all in fact it made them worse. Put the 21.00 into a new pair of lense, you'll be a lot happier

I had rubbed stone powder on my glasses by accident, causing lots of tiny scratches and cloudiness, hell on a computer screen. I applied it once on the outside of the lens, let it sit overnight. Next morning it looked like a fine layer of snot had dried on the glasses. The solution will apparently dissolve with sweat. The second night I did a coating on the inner side and re-coated the outside. The result was a foggyness that gave me a headache, and contrary to what the package says it does change the prescription if you don't apply it PERFECTLY evenly, which is impossible to do with the applicator. Save your money folks, ask your doctor what he recommends.

Worst product I have ever used. Like a dummie I ordered two. Sent the unused of one and the other back. Will probably never hear from them again. I would like to coat their windows with the fake stuff.

9/13/2007 - Kenny of Colorado, USA writes:
It actually just makes the scratches even worse, like covering them with glue, on any lenses; (as for lenses with anti-glare, even the company tells you not to use it; you learn this after you buy it). I felt so stupid after I tried it on my scratched glasses. They prey upon the ignorant and I suppose they'll pay in the next world but they should refund everyone's money in this one.

My husband and I both used this productas directed on our scratched glasses. It didn't help the scratches and blurred the glass. It's an awful product, and I'm surprised they're pushing it again. Don't spend a penny on it.
