Great backup phone/toy

9/21/2007 - Brenda of Indiana, USA writes:

Bought this phone for two reasons 1. As a backup to existing cordless phone for when the electricity goes out and 2) Novelty factor. It did take thorough reading and much fiddling to understand how to operate but it has served us well for over a year. It has the same set of cheapo batteries I originally put in (won't work with rechargeable ones) but then I don't use the light for anything. The handset is not comfortable to use and slips from the cradle too easy. The talking caller ID is great though, because my 3 girls don't rush and scramble to see who's calling....everyone just gets quiet for a moment to listen to the number. Could be a great phone if tweaked a bit.

Don't bother

8/28/2007 - Linda of Illinois, USA writes:

I actually was given this phone as a gift, and good luck trying to use all the features. What's worse is what they charge for it...because they are now showing up in 'dollar' stores in this area for 5.00!! The ringer is so loud you jump out of your skin when you get a call!

Returned it the same day >:(

5/26/2007 - Stef of California, USA writes:

I bought this [] because the look and features is hands down over other phones. But it runs on regular batteries which died a few ours later making ALL FEATURES USELESS!! I returned it as I cant afford the time or money it would cost to keep batteries in stock. Waste of time after the 3rd use!

Don't judge a book by it's cover!

5/25/2007 - Maria of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia writes:

The only good thing about this phone is that it looks good. Nothing more to it than just that! I purchased this phone thinking it would be a convenience for me but I was so wrong. I will not know when people call me as the ringer doesn't work! A few times I picked up the phone wanting to call out & my friend was already on the other line saying hello. There's no way of knowing when anyone calls me! The instructions are very poor. I can't even find where the volume is on the ringer! Where is the ringer option? It's a crap piece of phone!

Returned it almost immediantly.

3/19/2007 - Emily of Oklahoma, USA writes:

This phone pretty much sucks. It is hard to figure out, has poor instructions, and you can't turn of the ringer without unplugging the phone. I don't think it's all it's cracked up to be.

Buyer Beward!

12/10/2006 - Brenda of Maryand, USA writes:

The only thing good, not great about this phone is that I could hear the person on the other line. None of the functions work. I purchased the phone for the speaker function. I has not worked since I purchased it. Never again!

Not bad, my son likes it!

5/10/2006 - Robin of Georgia, USA writes:

This is only a good phone if you're using it as a "toy". My son, 13, thinks it's the coolest thing on earth, me, not so much. It falls at the slightest touch and goes thru batteries very quickly. The monitor is hard to read but if it IS working it's fine. I got mine at [] for $7.00, it was worth that much, not a dime more.

Pure Junk

3/8/2006 - Aodhan of Tennessee, USA writes:

My wife bought this for me for my home office. I used it for two days and saw that it was worthless. It was almost impossible to hear the person on the other end of the call. It feels as if you drop it, it would shatter into a million pieces. I literally threw it in the garbage after using it for three days.
