Skpetics beware

3/25/2008 - Rick of Maryland, USA writes:

UPDATE: Ok, I bought a few hundred of these things [] and I hate to admit but they do work. I am a constant allergy sufferer this time of year and using the pads twice a week keeps me allergy free. The downsides are several however. You have to do this for a month straight. You'll notice each week that you have less black and less gunk on the pads. But this is an investment. You'll need a hundred or so pads and they aren't cheap. Also, you can't just place them on the arch of your foot. You need to place them on your toes and on your heels. Its a process and not as simple as buying one little box of pads. But....they do work, I sleep better, I have better bowel movements, I've lost weight and I don't have sinus issues. Its not in my mind. Again, don't bother if you aren't going to wear these for a month and really to hit all of the areas of your foot you are looking at 3 months with continued usage needed. Better than allergy medicine though! :) Also, be sure to clean your feet off with alcohol before you use them. And be ready for them to smell. They do make a rather nasty odor which will make your bed smell funky even if you wear socks with them at night. Again, its all what you are willing to do.

caused dehydration

3/18/2008 - Nancy of Kentucky, USA writes:

I do not think that there was any detoxing of the body going on. Use it for 7 days, started experiencing lightheadedness and stomach upset on the 5th day. Stopped using and the next day felt better. Felt even better after not using for two nights. I did not feel better at any time.

they suck

3/1/2008 - bianca of Virginia, USA writes:

tried these in order to start an organic lifestyle and do a thorough body cleanse. oh sure, it turns black, and like others on here, i tried just pouring water on and it turned black. for anyone who does think they work, id be willing to bet its just a placebo effect.

Saved my life

3/1/2008 - James of Louisiana, USA writes:

At first,I was very skeptical of sleeping with anything taped to the bottoms of my feet. The first night I tried the pads, I slept so soundly that I died at about midnight. Thankfully, the pads raised me from the dead before I had to go to work the next morning. The only side effect was that I wet the bed after I died. After that first night, I wore a Depends just to be on the safe side.

skeptic

2/20/2008 - lisa of California, USA writes:

I never believe this stuff and I ordered the pads just to find out what the scam is. After the first use the pad was disgusting but it does just look like rust and I was able to get a similar effect from water on the pad. However, when I got up the morning after the first use there was definitely a difference in how I felt. I usually struggle getting out of bed and I didn't at all. I haven't felt as good in weeks. Is it something that helps you sleep better or just energy boosting herbs? I don't know but I can honestly say I feel better.

Wanted to try these, but....

2/20/2008 - Valerie of Idaho, USA writes:

I was very intrigued by this product until I saw a product review on a morning show. They had an expert doctor on saying that these pads are treated with vinegar which turns black after contact with perspiration. Mystery solved! Oh well!

Company won't ship or answer the phone

2/2/2008 - Chill of North Carolina, USA writes:

My aunt ordered these and it's been over 6 weeks and the company still has not shipped her product. They are understaff, so they do not answer the phone or emails. Most times the company phone number stays BUSY. Do not sign up to receive the 10 free pads each month for $12.95 shipping because you will NEVER be able to cancel it because the company never answers the phone

Scam?

1/28/2008 - Howard of Utah, USA writes:

I tried the kinoki pads on both feet and they became largely black overnight. Then I opened a new pad and poured filtered water (Pur system) across it and the kinoki pad turned just as black in a few seconds. It appears that skin moisture may be the causal affect rather than body toxins.

Kinoki Foot Pads Help

12/27/2007 - Judi of New Mexico, USA writes:

I bought this product with a great deal of skepticism about how well it would really detox my body. I have to admit I was surprised by how well it worked for me. The "gunk" on the foot pads in the morning was disgusting {both in look and smell} but I felt better. I had more energy and my allergies were not nearly as bad. In fact, when I remember to use the pads as recommended I don't need to take my allergy meds. I also have migraines which are much less frequent and severe when using the foot pads. I would recommend this product with the stipulation that you not expect the detox process to cure you of everything!
