Ionic White Test Results

7/5/2008 - Victor of Quebec, Canada writes:

Whatched the informercial, bought the product (arrived fast), followed the instructions word by word, but also took pictures (at the same angle, distance, and lighting): a) 3 pictures after drinking grape juice, before brushing, and before Ionic White; b) 3 pictures after brushing, and before Ionic White; c) 3 pictures after brushing and after Ionic White. I can e-mail you the pictures, the only difference was after brushing, while the Ionic White did not work at all, it did not make my teeth whiter by 4 shades as advertized on TV, it did not make them whiter at all, ZERO effect. Conclusion: Ionic White sucks! I am not going to ask them for refund (my time is worth more), but I strongly advise you NOT to buy the Ionic White. victor, from Montreal

Terrible!

2/22/2008 - Valerie of Ontario, Canada writes:

This product did not do what it said it would do at all. It actually felt like it was burning my gums. My teeth got no whiter at all. I send the original product back for refund and also the refill package that had not even been opened for refund. Two different products sent back and never got any refund because they claimed they never got either package apparently. I was so upset because I lost out on well over $100 and they could care less about it. The most awful experience about something I was originally so excited for.

DON'T BUY IT!

2/16/2008 - Elizabeth of New York, USA writes:

This Ionic White is a total waste of money! I bought it marked way, way down, so luckily, I didn't spend $29 of my money on it. It does not work - a total disappointment!

no difference immediately afterwards

1/31/2008 - Tony of Tennessee, USA writes:

I used the product as directed. I took a picture before and after and my teeth actually look more yellow now. It is easy to use and quick. I used minute white before and could tell the difference afterwards.

Not the Best

12/17/2007 - Jennifer of Ontario, Canada writes:

So this was on sale at my local drug mart this weekend so I figured I would try it out. First I will say there is NO minty taste.. it tatses like garbage. And secondly it burned my lips so bad and tongue. I do have to say that I can see results though. Its cheap and a little painful but a good alternative to the thousands of dollars at a dentist. It's just a good thing you dont' have to do it everyday=)

It did what they said it would..

6/23/2007 - Thomas of Ohio, USA writes:

I guess it depends on the individual..but the stuff worked for me! I'm a heavy smoker & I drink a lot of coffee & tea. There was a very noteable difference, even after the 1 use; hated strips when I tried 'em. Lite stays on for 2 minutes & goes out, like it's supposed to. And you need to follow directions & use the sprays. So what do you expect for $29 at []? Better than $250 & an hour in a dentists' chair. Maybe the info 'mercial is overstated or even a bit misleading (if it's not avalable "in stores" how come I found it at my corner drug store??). Don't know, but my dentist could see a difference. Way easier to use than paint on crap & other stuff I've tried. Maybe the compostiton of a persons teeth makes a difference...wasn't a miracle, but it DID work. I'm looking for refills now...'cause whiter teeth don't last forever & I'm not crazy about their website. But I've blown more money buying drinks for myself & buds in one nite. Don't expect miracles...u get what u pay for...but I don't think I wasted my money & if I can find refils at Walgreens, I WILL do it again.

Very good product.

6/4/2007 - Penny of Virginia, USA writes:

The battery died in the midst of my first "lighting" so I had to find another. Then I mixed #1 with another #1 instead of a #2, so I messed up the last two of the 3 repetitions myself! You'v'e got to squeeze thoroughly the tubes to get the gels out. However, even with the one application, instead of 3, my teeth are definitely whiter! I am very pleased and I will look forward to using this again soon and doing it correctly. Four (4) stars.

rip off - does not work

5/17/2007 - Tom of New Jersey, USA writes:

I bought 2 package of the ionic white for me and my wife. We both tried this product and followed the instructions. If was very easy to use but the product did not work. We took before and after pictures to see if it worked and it did not. The company will also automatically place you in the renewal list meaning they will continue to bill you and send you refills. Stay away, this is a scam. The cogate strips are a pain to apply but work much better. Do not waste your money like me. I wish i found this forum before i purchased the crappy product.

Rip off

2/23/2007 - Ana of Ontario, Canada writes:

Ionic White did not whiten my teeth at all. The infomercial is very misleading. The product stung my lips, the gels were messy and the flavor was not minty or even remotely pleasant. Swishing the gels around in my mouth was disgusting. Did I mention it didnt whiten my teeth..? Waste of money and time. Stick to Whitening strips.

Loved This Product

1/2/2007 - Anonymous of Maryland, USA writes:

Was very affordable($30) and I saw a big difference after just one use. The sprays to help maintain your results are fast and easy to use and really help it last. I just wish they sold refills without the monthly plan. Bottom Line: Try It! It Worked Great For Me!

Not Worth The Price

11/12/2006 - Esther of Texas, USA writes:

I paid about $30 at []. I had high hopes that it could work, but it made uneven spots on my teeth that are lighter! It is annoying to maintain the whitening system as well, because they want you to spray your teeth- it was frustrating.

Useless

9/8/2006 - Anonymous of Hampshire, England writes:

This product did not work for me. My teeth are not badly discoloured, just slightly yellow. I used this product as directed for two months. My teeth are still slightly yellow. I suggest you save your money and buy something more worthwhile - a chocolate iron.

Got My Attention!

6/28/2006 - Benita of Pennsylvania, USA writes:

I tried this yesterday and it worked! No, my teeth are not sparkling white but after years of consuming teeth staining foods/drinks, even the dentist can't promise white teeth. So what if I have to reorder the gels at cost, it's better than reverting back to "corn teeth" (ugh). I'm sold on the product! :)

False Advertising

5/18/2006 - Rita of Alabama, USA writes:

The first thing they lied about was saying it wasn't available in stores. The second thing was that the product worked. I used the product according to directions and have been using the sprays every day since. If there is any difference, it is so minimal as to be a total waste of money. I've had better experience with using one white strip than with this entire system. Total rip off. I would like to give it Zero stars.

do not buy

5/7/2006 - Teresa of California, USA writes:

I did not see any difference. It is uncomfortable to wear, the stuff burns, and left my teeth feeling sensitive. They didn't even have anywhere for you to purchase more product when you ran out of the product, they only give you 1cc of product. overall not a good deal

A Dramatic Difference!

3/16/2006 - Dianna of Illinois, USA writes:

I think that you need to have an unbiased witness(someone that is not yourself or trying the product simultaneously) to tell you the results. Even though the process is only 30 minutes, it's still gradual. I was at first not impressed, but showed my mother my teeth to show how I had been ripped off and she said "Wow! That's a HUGE difference!". I thought she was making fun of me, but she was dead serious (and never sugar coats anything). After an hour I went to the mirror and I saw my front teeth were WHITE. It's gradual, but I would do the whole system and do a spray chaser afterwards and you will see a big difference. Way cheaper than the dentist, too, who wanted to charge me $500 to whiten my teeth! Considering it's OTC, I really can't expect perfection, mostly at such a low price. I paid $29.99 at Walgreens.
