This product really sucks!! It has no bobbin, so you have pull the thread thru, and do it by hand, which is next to impossible. It eats batteries like crazy, and if they get low, it stitches real slow. The quality of the stich is ridiculous, after your done, the stich comes right out. They say it will go thru denim, bull, it wouldn't go thru a thin piece of material. Dishonest, cheap, ridiculous product. Buyer beware!!!! Don't waste your time!!

Like every other review said, this product is simply a waste of money. I just does not work! The threads pull right out of the fabric! I too thought I was doing something wrong, but after re-reading the instructions and trying it many different ways, it still won't work. Do Not Buy!!

Well I bought this product because I didn't have a full size sewing machine and I didn't want to spend that much money on one since I normally only sew when I have a missing button or a tear, etc. When I saw this product I thought it was the perfect solution...well I thought wrong. I had a tear in a button down shirt just a small one so I figured I would try the Handy Stitch. At first it started sewing along and then behind it instead of leaving a stitch it would pull the thread back out. So I thought I was doing something wrong and re-read the instructions. I tried again and still the same thing. I then thought maybe I just didn't have the hang of it so I let a couple friends try it for various sewing tasks none of them could get it to work either. So save your money and don't buy this. There was only one plus, all the different colored thread spools, I kept them and the Handy Stitch is stashed away in the back of one of my closets.....I think! LOL!

I hope the better business burea does get on this cause the gadget in question is absolutely useless without the second reel of thread which helps to anchor all the stitches!!!!! this was their way of making back the money invested on a faulty product that should have been re-called. "MADE IN CHINA" no doubt.

Lets just say my mom threw it away not long after she bought it. I would not recommend this to anyone. Overall this is not a good product...

Luckily I purchased this at [] so they refunded my money. Nobody (neighbord, friends and office workers) could get it to operate. Save your money. It's a joke. I would love to know what they used to shoot the commercial. Not a "Handy Stitch".

I bought this for my mom. Although she is an excellent seamstress, she could not make this thing work at all. I tried, a neighbor, my sister- none of us were able to sew even one seam of various fabrics.

Junk, The thing is hard to control, and very fast. The instrutions are about as deceiving as the infomercial save your money. I sent the product back for a refund, I have yet to receive the refund. I have been waiting three tears now.

Very difficult to use. Owner's manual doesn't help much. Once you figure it out, the stiching is really bad. Better off doing it the old fashioned way...by hand. Don't waste your money.

We picked this up several years ago at a five and dime store. I tried several times to sew with it but the stitches fall out. What good is it then? NO GOOD AT ALL.

I used this product on one very small, very quick project. (A felt hat). At the end of the project it broke. I returned it to the store.

I got this product, thinking it would be an easy way to make small repairs on tshirts and other items. The infomercial showed the Handy Stitch sewing thru tough thick fabrics, all while making perfectly spaced, clean rows. I tried the handy stitch on a simple 1 inch seam hole on a regular tshirt. After about 30 minutes of trying, I gave up. The stiches were horribly unevenly spaced, and as soon as I was done, the threads would pull right out. I tried it on several other items - all with the same results. I was unable to get a single decent line of stitches. DON'T BUY THIS JUNK!
