I have received this product from a friend as a gift since she had to buy two. After the first use I noticed how the coating was coming off and decide to get rid of both the meal and the gtxpress. I always try to buy what is best for my healt when it comes to food, products and so on and I didnt think it was worth to keep on using it. Something like that could result in some sort of healt hazard on the long run. One day I was shopping for a grill and found an omlet maker that was shaped just like the half moon and decided to buy it. That one is awesome! Never gave me any problem, easy to clean, nothing burns or comes off and its price was just $ 8.99 without shipping, handling, credit cards payments over the phone...So, people, if you are thinking of buying this tool, go to your appliances store and get an omlett maker; it does the same job, you can cook chicken in it (be aware of raw chicken ,salmonella, and keep it in few more minutes if not sure) make little cakes and wraps. I hope this help.

I have used this product for several years. Have bought them as gifts for family. Convenient, quick. Sandwich wraps, breakfast biscuits and the cake with candy center is great! I'm going to buy another for our RV!

I bought mine last year after seeing the infomercial, and I am so glad I did! I keep it on my countertop because I use it so often. It cooks so fast & cleans up easy. The key is to clean it when it's warm - not hot, not cold. Warm! Occassionally, I use cooking spray, but most times you can just cook in it without cooking spray. I was fortunate to get two machines for the price of one. That was the deal they were offering at the time. They do have a larger size machine, but I like the small size. It's portion controlled. You can make up your own recipes as you go. It's great for leftovers. If you have leftover chicken, rice, and cheese, you can create a burrito. If you have canned soup and stuffing mix, you can make a delicious stuffing that they refer to as Stuffed Soup on the infomercial. Yum! It makes great breakfast sandwiches. The combinations are endless.

They make it sound good on tv and that you are getting a good deal. You have the option to make two payment they get your charge card number and take out the full amount in one lump sum. The product is over priced and the shipping is way over priced. They advertise buy one get a second one free, your not getting any thing free but a piece of junk. I have called the company but it like talking to a block wall. I have contacted the better business bureau, probably me and two thousand other unsatified people.

I actually really like this product. The non-stick coating is doing fine after about 10 uses so far. I did read the manual, and it says to make sure that you "season" the wells before you use it. I just spray it with cooking spray before each use, and I don't wash it (I just wipe it out with a soft paper towel like in the commercials). The thing I don't like is that the "cook book" that comes with the product has very little recipes and you have to pay a lot of money if you want them to send you more. Also, the wells are a little small (for us hungry Americans), but the proportions are actually appropriate.

Bought it in July of '07, and it was money "very much wasted". Don't throw your money away. Not used to "kiddy" portions! For $103.00 which was to be for everything, I was over charged! It was to be two (2) payments of $29.95. You add it up! Not Worth It!

This product seemed like it would be really good. However, when I received it, it was so small. I tried it & things turned out to be a mess. Also, I did not like the fact that I lost $33.80 fo shipping. That seems so high to me.When I did order it on the phone, they went from one offer to another. I finally had to hang up to end the call. What a big mistake!!Never will order from an infomercial again.

I bought this product even though it had mixed reviews. I am very glad I did. It cooks cakes and breads very light and fluffy. I cooked salmon and a cut up potato with onions to flavor and about a tsp of butter with a little water for steam. I cooked both items at the same time. It took 15 minutes and both food items were completely done and cooked perfectly. No mess and no work involved. I have cooked many meals like this and when I finish I pour water in each well to let it sit and any food that may have stuck comes off without using any scrubbing motion. Just poured out the water and wiped clean. My husband and I are watching our weight and this product works great for us. It is true that a lot of the recipes are for processed food, but you can use your own imagination if you are wanting to eat light. I bought the 4 well gt express along with the 2 well. It is worth the extra money to upgrade. I spent 89.00 for both, shipping and all. It was worth it to me. I received 2 recipe booklets and the quality of the machines were very much like the George Foreman grill if you are familiar with it. It works a lot like a George Foreman except it has wells. I am very pleased with this product. I am not saying that the other reviews are not accurate just that my experience has not been anything like some of the bad reviews.

The non-stick surface came apart after one weeks service. It cost $81 to purchase and $11 to return and I was credited $49. It cost me $43 to try it out. It is not worth it. The idea is a good one but, it is so cheaply built it is not worth it.

I actually like this product. It does exactly what the infomercial says. It makes perfect and easy eggs and omelets, and you LITERALLY just have to wipe out the inside. I don't use it enough to justify it, but that's not their fault.

Bought this little gem about a year ago. Loved the speed of the cooking, 7 min and your done. But if you have a 6'5" husband, and you serve him one little half circle, he's gonna order out. I guess technically that should be a "proper portion" but I found that for ME, it's great, for US, not so great. The recipes are fun, easy, and quite good. It's great for late night dessert cravings, cooks evenly, sort of a pooper to clean, but I am on my second one due to the coating that came off. My new one is doing the same thing. I'm a smoker so a little bit of teflon is the least of my worries right? Also, they kept sending and billing my c/c for new recipes that I was not aware that I ordered. A phone call fixed that. Bought 2, gave one to my friend, overall we both think they are kinda handy.

One of ours had the leg break off on the first use. The cooking spaces are small. It works decently enough though, and is convenient.

I love the GT express 101. I have the one with 4 compartments. It's perfect to make those small frozen pizzas. Rather than using the micro (wich makes them soggy & uncooked) I thaw them out and cut them in 1/2 and just stick them in the GT for 7 mins. It cooks them perfect. I make lots of stuff like meatballs, little cakes, etc. I find it more practical than a micro or a convection oven. You don't have to wait for it to pre heat and food comes out quickly. I also love to make omlets. Then come out super fluffy and don't have an ugly egg taste you can get from pans. I recomend it for quick use but not really for gormet meals like the comercial says.

Being a single parent of two teenage boys I thought this product would work. the thing about this product is that is small, the non-stick surface wore odd after the second time i used it, and finally be aware that you need to have SMALL piece of meat. In other words that lady can take her bullshit product and shove it up her ass.

I love mine. I even bought the double one. Your non-stick may not be holding up if you haven't been using non-stick spray from the very bdginning like the manual says. I haven't had any trouble with mine and I've had mine for about 3 years now. I've given them as gifts too and everyone had loved it too.

Not as easy as seen on TV. Cooking sections are much smaller than they appear, and a REAL pain to clean if anything bubbles over. A 6" tortilla is to big for this. Another thing to go in a garage sale.

I have had one of these cookers for well over a year now and I have to say it gets more use then even the can opener! It's so much fun to try new recipes. As for someone's review below, the non-stick coating is still in perfect condition on mine after countless uses. If you like creating quick recipes and like snacking, then get one!

When I first recieved the product i completely fell in love with it.. my friends enjoyed all the yummy food i made for them. sure it wasnt anything gourmet but it was decent. Pita, wraps. This product is good for those who needs to save a little counter space...Although the product name melted away with heat so just be careful with that. all in all i was happy with what i got

While the product use and operation is great for small portions for quick meals, clean up has proved to be less than satisfactory. I have had the product for just over 1 month and I have used it approximately 20 times. The non-stick surface has completely worn out (proper cleaning instructions were followed, and, the cooking surfaces were regularly "seasoned"). The cleaning of the unit takes far too long given that the cooking surfaces are not removable to facilitate cleaning. I would not buy this unit again until the company resolves this problem.

I don't know why I bought the product really, as there's no way I'd ever serve up half moon shaped meals to my guests. I think I was hoping it would steer me away from unhealthy snacks, and that I could make something yummy and nutritious out of the leftovers in my fridge. I tried out a few of the recipes, some where bizarre, to say the least (baked soup - that's just wrong!) Everything came out waterlogged and soggy and basically inedible. Load of rubbish George Foreman grills are much more versatile, I'd recommend one of them instead.
