Grill Daddy

Worked ok,but Grate Chef Steaming grill brush works better and easier to use. The Grate Chef Steaming grill brush is a one step process unlike the Grill Daddy

Great idea! Try using a spray bottle...

9/13/2007 - Bruce of Illinois, USA writes:

Performed as advertised, but the bristles started to fall out with the first use. It gave me the idea to preheat the grill, spray with a water bottle and scrub with a sturdier wire brush. THAT idea works as well as the $19.95 Grill Daddy. Not worth the money...

Junk

Junk. They should be ashamed. A brillo pad for 50 cents did twice the job. I also bought the pro model. Pro junk!!! Both are being sent back......

It worked as advertised

8/18/2007 - Cameron of Oklahoma, USA writes:

I guess I'm the exception. I was very skeptical when I opened the package and saw the Grill Daddy. It looked like an electric steam grill cleaner on TV but when I received it and saw that it was just a valve that you twisted to open and close, allowing the water to stream through the steel bristles, I felt like I was completely ripped off. But I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and try it. I've got an indoor electric BBQ grill that had about a year's worth of charcoal that I could never get off with a regular steel brush. I used the Grill Daddy and in about 30 seconds the original silver color of the grill returned. Not a single bristle fell out. I was very surprised by how well it worked and even recommended it to a friend. The only reason I'm deducting one star is because I think the commercial was a little misleading by not fully showing how it actually worked. Like I said, on TV it looked like it was an electric steam cleaner.

RIP OFF!

8/13/2007 - Alan of Arizona, USA writes:

It is nothing more then a wire brush with water. Not only didn't it do a very good job but the bristles started falling out after 1 use. I followed the directions to the letter. This product is totally useless.

Totally Useless

8/11/2007 - Daniel of Florida, USA writes:

The Grill Daddy was my worst purchase in a long time. I followed the instructions to the word, preheating the grill for 10 minutes, and following the directions for how to scrub the grill. After EXTENSIVE scrubbing, the grill looked no better than before. Then, the bristles started to come out... after only the first use! The product itself is merely a normal (low-quality) grill scrub with holes for water to drip out of. Nothing worth even three dollars. What a terrible waste of money.
