Consumer Ratings

They're good

3/27/2008 - Mark of TX, USA writes:

My parents bought the original Ginsu knives when I was a teenager. I'm 38 years old now, and I still have them. I use them pretty often and am satisfied. They're practical and work well.

Decient Knife

1/22/2008 - paul of Maryland, USA writes:

I had one of the first original Ginsu Knives had it for years handle broke and blade was dull I found out the manufacture of the knife and called them, they had me send it in with $2.00 for shipping and they sent me a replacement knife right away, that's been about 7 years ago for the 2nd knife and it's a little dull the suratted edges are bending so it's somewhat dull I use it to slice the 1lb frozen breakfast sausage into patties it still cuts it when it's frozen hard, good knife for all it's worth.

The original RONCO GINSU KNIVES

10/19/2007 - Candy of California, USA writes:

The original Ginsu Knives from the 80's are still going strong. The plastic handles look a bit worn in some cases but they work just fine. I got another set called GINSU 2000, and I think they were a KNOCKOFF and a RIPOFF. They rusted and were thin, but I do not think they were from RONCO or POPEIL. I have not bought the new set by Ron Popeil, they advertise buy one get one free. They look great but the shipping for the 2 sets brings the total to about $180.00 and that is too high for me. But GO RON GO! I still love all the old products I bought from your years of infomercials and they all still work just great!!! Candy in California

really work

7/16/2007 - Sally of Texas, USA writes:

I bought my Ginsu knives about 14 years ago and they are still great. I had seen the ad's all those years ago and havent seen them in quite some time. But anyway the knives do not appear to be very well made or special however after 14 years they are still the best knives in my kitchen. I dont understand it and wish I could find some more. This is a product that does what it say's!

GINSU-SOSO

2/10/2007 - John of New York, USA writes:

The knives are too thin and weak for actual use as shown on infomercials. Steak knives keep bending so is difficult to actually cut steak meat; paring knife so weak, extremely difficult to cut through orange rind; have been using for about one month and they appear to be still sharp.
