this is the same thing as all the life coaches out there. super bubbly way of trying to motivate you to live your life better. nothing you can not do on your own by simply getting up and changing what you do not like about yourself. you should not need a guy to do that for you. save your money for the high fuel prices or something.

The Get the Edge program is a great program to help motivate you to make positive changes in your life. Anthony Robbins is like an old friend who always has a way of picking you up and shifting your attention to what matters most in your life. With each CD you hear stories of failure, success, and overcoming obstacles. He had a good way of making points and getting you in a frame of mind to where you can be bold and make new and important decisions. The "seminar" is targeted to specific daily themes. With each CD, you are given a short "assignment" where he has you write out answers to questions. Mr. Robbins then goes over what your answers mean, and makes suggestions on how you can improve your situation and achieve more of what you want out of life. Since getting this CD program (which included part of his first series "Personal Power") I have listened to it repeatedly and find it a very positive influence. With all of the negativity in the world today, this is some good input for a change. While I don't hang on his every word, I am able to take what is useful and use it to my advantage. In this program you are encouraged to attend a live seminar (which is expensive). One CD talks about health, and while you can take the information by itself and use it to your advantage, he suggests using health products from his company. Part of Personal Power is included to lay the foundation for Get the Edge. He does encourage you to buy it (and books he has published)if you want, but it is not necessary to do so. He is, in fact, a successful businessman and I can't blame him for wanting to sell his products and build a base of regular customers. The services he provides are for the personal benefit of others as well as himself...and you don't find this "service-minded approach" too often in the business world. I look at it this way: If he (in this program) serves as a life coach for me, and as a result I become more successful, then I see no reason why I wouldn't turn to him again (perhaps at a live seminar) in order to keep the momentum going for further successes. Get the Edge is a complete program, and you are not left hanging without "closure" (like some movies do with their sequel). I am giving this a 4-star rating because I don't want you to think I am overzealous and trying to over-hype this program. Take my review for what it's worth, but if you can afford to pick up a copy, I'll think you'll find it to be a good resource you can turn to whenever you need a little push.
