If I could give this product zero stars I would. I payed ten dollars as this was reduced from twenty! The gems do not stay on the fabric. It is like a giant stapler, very cheaply made. The gems are very small, very misleading from the informercial. That lady Cathy should be ashamed of herself for representing such a piece of garbage. This thing goes back to [] tomorrow.

Bought product at retail store, had one of the parts break on first use...called company at provided Customer Service # wanting to purchase a replacement part. Was told by rep, even before I explained what I wanted to "take it back"....subsequently decided thing is complete junk after inspecting other parts...

Great gem setter, My daugther loves playing with it. She gems everything!!!! the only draw back is that it only uses gems with prawngs, but apart from that it's great. Will only work with thinner materials and some types of jean material.

I have had my gemagic for over 12 months, I find putting the stones in by hand and using a ripper tool to bend the legs over,if you want to remove gem, lift legs up with ripper.aftrwards go over wrong side with small hammer,(SIMPLE) I buy jeans, jackets, bags etc at my local charity shop, titivate with gems, then sell them on [],you would be surprised how well they go, thanks GEMAGIC.

My son bought this to embellish costumes and it was the best ever. It was easy to use and I've used it to embellish table cloths, napkins, table runners with no problems. I used to use a manual stud setter that required using a hammer, but this product is super easy to use.

Despite it being quite costly..£45 incl P&P, I thought it would be a fun way of jazzing up some of my old clothes and accessories, and perhaps it would end up paying for itself! In reality, if I hadn't managed to send it back in time, it would have ended up in the bin! The stones were cheap plastic, the studs were at least metal. The designs were really complicated to use, and the simple beading I tried to do, I found that the prongs didn't go through the material properly most of the time, and the ones I did do sucesfully fell off after 1 wearing. If I had paid £10 or less for it, I may have perservered, but I expect a lot more for £45. Did manage to stud a collar of a plain black tshirt sucessfully, so I guess the unrefunded postage and packing paid for that..oh well!

I have seen this product on TV for a long time, [] has it for 18.44 so I thought I would try it, I am still debating wheather or not to return it. Its plastic, very light, cheap made, I tried putting the Gems on a sample fabric to try it, can't get the gem to go all the way through. Ad for the 300 gems included, its a joke, maybe a total of 300 in each samll packet. Will work with it over the weekend and see if it goes back to [].

I have had both the Gemagic and the Bedazzler. I bought the Bedazzler 1st and was very dissapointed with it. I saw the GeMagic at another store for the same price as the Bedazzler, so I purchased it because it seemed to be a better quality product. Once I tried it a little bit, I was totally sold on the GeMagic! The large machine is great, and I love having the smaller version to use for hard to reach places. It let me put studs on the tiny pocket on my daughter's jeans. My overall rating for this is "Great!" I love taking plain looking clothes and making them stand out!

I bought this product in a local retail store and I love it ..I only paid 19$ for it and it was worth every penny. For those of you that are complaining about this product you need to learn to follow instructions and to read fine print ..duh the gems arnt real...and besides glass breaks easier then plastic...also for those of you who are complaining that the plastic gems are breaking when you push them into the plastic....your not suppose to slam on them or push really hard..these things are a soft metal your only suppose to firmly press down ...over all i give GEMAGIC five stars..it does exactly what she says it does..

I got mine for a Christmas gift. My husband got it from [] for 18.00. It does what the ads say it will do, but you have to be careful and get the plunger lined up perfectly with the base or the prongs won't bend right. So far I have done crafts with my grandaughter and decorated some blue jeans and a camera case. I plan to do scrapbook pages. So all in all it is a nice little crafting tool. I've washed and dried my decorated jeans in the machine and so far haven't lost a gem yet. You can get refills for it at the hobby store in my area. So all in all I would say it's worth the 20 bucks you can get it for.

I was so excited to get this product. But I have wasted too many studs and stones because the prongs bend out on some of them when I try to put them on anything. Then if I try and take them off I end up with a hole in the fabric. I will try to look for better studs to work with. I am very disappointed.

I own both the GeMagic and the Bedazzler. I like the GeMagic much better; it came with better quality studs (a little harder to push through, but stay on much better and don't come loose easily), and the machine itself is sturdier. The MiniMagic is very handy too. All in all, it does what it says, though don't expect the designs to hold up to machine washing without having to replace them (stones) eventually. I don't like handwashing so I just throw them in the machine. The metal studs hold up just fine. I've only had to push in a few loose prongs (maybe three at most) in the 8 months or so I've been wearing a pair of jeans I decorated, mostly due to my machine washing it. The plastic stones are a little chipped and cloudy, but could easily be replaced; this would probably not happen with hand washing.

After reading so many complaints, I decided to try my Gemagic,I put some gems on my favorite jeans, on the legs and around the front pockets,i had no problems with my Gemagic,I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE IT,the only problem i have is choosing what design to use and what to do next.

I spent a whole lot less at [] on this product. About 18.95 I think. My niece who is 7 wanted to help me with a project, and she could not press down hard or straight enough to get the prongs set correctly. So I stepped in, and struggled myself. Our project turned out nice, but we had several stones come loose on the first wearing and we had to re-do. Also, not enough stones to do very many projects. When you want to re-order from the Gemagic website, you have to get an assortment, instead of a certain size you might want. Also, the transfer pen did not work at all on denim jeans. Had to poke a hole in the paper and put a small dot of magic market to show design.

dissapointed with Gemagic, stones and studs easy break, weak stems, plastic gem holders easy break, total waste of money, Cathy Mitchell should be banned from advertising this product,

O.k so i got my product, tried it and guess what? the studs did not bend like they do on t.v,instead they all bend the other way,the only thing i got use of from this product was the mini magic tool, not the actual tool itself but the piece to bend the studs,i paid almost $200 for this and all i have to say is it's crap.someone should call Cathy Mitchell and tell her to stop the bogus t.v adds.i think others will agree.

I just used my Gemagic for the first time. I was so excited, as it looked fun and easy on TV. Well after applying about 7 studs, the tool broke (the holder for that perticular size stud). Now what...

I was disappointed when I opened my package and noticed that the stones that were included in the deal were just plain basic small studs. They were nothing like the stones advertised on t.v. I checked to see about ordering larger stones in addition too but found nothing. This was my 1st time ordering something from t.v. and from the this experience this will be my last. I only wish i had read all the other reviews of other disatisfied customers before buying this product.
