I LOVE it!

4/8/2008 - Sally of Nebraska, United State writes:

I've had my Gazelle Freestyle Elite for about 2 1/2 years and I absolutely love it! I've used my sister's lesser model and the feel is just not the same, it's too loose and easy. My Elite does have some squeaks but they're tolerable and nothing has ever broken...and I was 330 pounds when I started using this! Now, with other changes and exercise and the ongoing use of my Elite, I have lost WELL OVER 100 pounds and still loosing! I have no problem getting my heart rate up and getting a good workout. Let me reiterate: I LOVE my Gazelle Freestyle Elite and would buy it again in a heartbeat!

gazelle freestyle is great

1/21/2007 - Marilyn of Missouri, USA writes:

I've had my gazelle for a year now, it works great, I use it to stay in shape, mostly for the cardio. I've never had a problem with the digital readouts. Theres a little squeakiness when you really get moving, otherwise its quiet. I bought mine from [], great service!

I like it.

1/3/2007 - Jim of Nova Scotia, Canada writes:

For a middle age person looking to improve cardiovascular fitness and do some muscle toning the Gazelle Freestyle Elite is an economical and effective choice. It's easy to vary the intensity and duration of your workout depending on your fitness level. An athlete might not find this machine challenging but, the rest of us will have no problem working up a sweat and achieving our target heart rate (heart rate monitor included). I have difficulty motivating myself to crank up the intensity so I use the included video workouts and find them effective. The machine is noisy. I fixed the first few squeeks but now I don't bother - they aren't that annoying. I didn't buy directly from a TV infomercial - too many horror stories. Better products eventually show up at established, trustworthy retailers who honor their satisfaction guarantee.

Easy on the Knees

7/29/2006 - Catherine of Ontario, Canada writes:

For years I've used a treadmill but this past year I found my knees were starting to ache so decided to try the Gazelle (age 40+). It IS easy on the knees. The version I have has resistance shocks that you can use. I find without the shocks the motion is too free ranging and it causes my ankles to crack. With the shocks 'connected' I get a great workout and no pain anywhere. I have it set up infront of the TV and the silent motion is great. The electronic monitor for distance, etc never did work properly but I'm interested in the exercise not the readout. I just time myself - 30 minutes at moderate pace is ~1.25 miles. This was a good purchase.

Love it

2/27/2006 - Nola of Minnesota, USA writes:

I use my machine while I am watching TV at night and it works great. However...... the wires that lead to the calorie counter/ pulse meter break off at the connector very easily. I have had to replace one of them twice now, but it is a cheap fix or you can learn to live without the readout. It gives a better workout than you might think.... very low impact and easy on the joints. Be sure to have something to keep your brain occupied because the motion can get pretty boring.

Enjoyed it while it worked

2/22/2006 - Laura of Texas, USA writes:

I did like this equiptment because there was no stress on my knees when using it. However, we didn't have it long before the heel supports broke and this cheap plastic piece that would record your calories burned, etc broke off and stopped working correctly.
