Worked for me!

12/24/2008 - Beverly of Il, Cook writes:

This really does work! I don't have time for a gym work out. I have been using the fluidity bar for about a year and saw results immediately. Especially my arms have definition. My daughter said, Mom, you got guns! Workout was more intense than it looked without being painful. You do sweat. I lost 6 lbs. first month without changing diet. Now, I would like more workouts and different routines. It really does work.

worth it!

11/24/2008 - Eileen of FL, us writes:

I am not a regular infomercial shopper, but when I saw the Fluidity I had to try it. From minute one I knew I made a good choice. My husband (very critical) was impressed with the quality, I was impressed with the work out. I have had it for about 18 months. I wish I were more consistent with my work outs, I am good for 3 months then bad for about 3 months :(. When I am "good" I LOVE using my Fluidity. My flexibility improves after about 3 workouts. My legs and arms tone very nicely. Unfortunately one exercise on the DVD is extremely difficult so I choose to do my own thing at that time. Some day if I stick with exercising for more than 3 months at a time, maybe I will be able to complete all the exercises on the DVD's :).

Best exercise ever!!!

11/21/2008 - Rita of Brooklyn, NY, US writes:

I'm 29 years old and I haven't worked out in about 6 years. I'm not overweight but I noticed that I started to get flabby, especially in my thighs and butt area. Fluidity looked like a quick and easy way to tone me up and to my surprise it actually worked!! After using it for about 6 weeks I noticed that my legs, thighs, butt and stomach got firmer and tighter and my jeans filled out better. The most important thing is not to get lazy and to stick with the exercise and do it at least 3 times a week. It only takes about 30-45 minutes at a time and the results are well worth it. The DVD's are pretty easy to follow and you're never sore the next day because you stretch after each movement. I have been using this for 6 months now and I'm on the advanced DVD. Oh also the DVD that's only for 'legs, buns and thighs' is great for a lower body workout (which is my problem area). If you want to quickly tone and get flexible you should definitely get this!! It's awesome!!!

Still lovin' it!

11/1/2008 - Sherri of Illinois, USA writes:

UPDATE: I've been using Fluidity for 4 months now and I still love it. It's still a killer for me, but I feel guilty if I miss a session. I've also started using the Bar Method with the bar, which is very similar, but not quite as demanding as the fluidity workouts. Michelle really makes you work hard all the way through, but in the end you always think Yes! I did it again! I do have a problem with the left leg of the bar coming all the way out, got it replace, and it happened again with the new bar a few weeks ago. It's still usable, but for the money you spend on it, it should have never broke like it did. But , all in all, I'll still use it as long as it's safe for me. I've really shaped up, toned up, and really feel better in my clothes. I still give it 5 stars, even with the flaws.

Better than Yoga!

10/25/2008 - Cindy of TX, USA writes:

After about 1 1/2 weeks of using the Fluidity Bar, I was travelling for business. On the hotel TV one night was a yoga fitness instructor I was familiar with. I had done this persons video work out for several weeks in a row (sometime in the past). I started to join in with the TV yoga class and was very surprised. After only a short time of using the Fluidity Bar, I felt stronger and better balanced as I performed the yoga than I had after several weeks of just doing the yoga. I am showing more results in a shorter period of time! The routine makes me sweat, but is not jarring. It makes me feel feminine (much better than barbells at the gym.) The mat is a little awkward as part of it seems to have a hard core and part of it is soft. Sometimes the place where I need to stand is right were it transitions between the two. A few of the exercises are awkward for me (probably due to my 5'8", not particularly petite frame). But I do them anyway the best I can, because I know this thing works!

I was never a dancer but I recommend

9/27/2008 - lisa of michigan , usa writes:

I bought this product after much research, realizing due to shipping costs I would not return it. now there's a lot of pressure on the product. After tia kwon do and yoga classes were just not easily available for a night shifter I wanted something that did the stretching and strengthening for my 45 year old body that was nastily obese. Very nice product on the stretches, very nice workout. Even boyfriend said he felt the burn when I asked him to try the pullups. Sturdy bar, sturdy mat, heavy equipment (my UPS guy hates me I'm sure) and a bit cumbersome. I have to get a mirror to make sure I have good posture and correct form while exercising because I have no background but it worked and I recommend it! There's tone, inches, and burn it's all there! now if I stick to my diet well I've only had it 2 weeks and I do really really like it!

OMG, IT REALLY WORKS!

8/12/2008 - Mel of CA, USA writes:

It really works, but it takes hard work and patience. I've been using it for 2 months, and my stomach is flatter and I can fit into clothes that I haven't worn in years. And I don't lose weight easily, so this thing is a God send. The moves might be difficult for some, but don't let that throw you off. Keep working at it and after a few weeks, you will get better at it. The key is to not get frustrated and give up. The results you get is well worth it.

very bulky

8/9/2008 - Cindy of KS, USA writes:

I love the idea of the dancer body; my living room is VERY TINY and the workout is at least 45 minutes (longer for me because I'm in such bad shape). It is inconvenient to store and set up. the theory is good but the practice doesn't work for me. Am going back to a workout that doesn't have major equipment.

Willing to give it a try!

7/31/2008 - Bonnie of Michigan, USA writes:

I just received the Fluidity Bar today. It appears to be a very sturdy piece of equipment. On some of the complaint sites several people mentioned a terrible odor coming from the mat. I can't smell anything from the one I received, other than the normal new smell. I just finished watching the beginners DVD and it looks to be a good workout. I can see how it would tone muscles and sculpt the body. My first workout will be tomorrow morning so I'll let you know how it goes! I'm giving it four stars for the look and weight of it. We'll see if that changes after I give it a try.

Sturdy, solid, and useful

7/15/2008 - Gretchen of Seattle, WA writes:

I purchased the Fluidity bar with the intention of doing the DVD workouts that cam with it. As a former dancer, the routines looked familiar--like many dance classes I've taken in the past. I was surprised by the weight of the unit when it arrived. But now I find the weight contributes to the overall sturdiness of the equipment which I really appreciate. Shortly after I received the bar, I had to have replacement knee surgery on my left knee. The bar turned out to be invaluable for my rehab exercises at home. It gave me excellent balance and support, and unlike a countertop, bannister or the back of a chair, I can adjust the bar to exactly the height I need for the exercise I'm doing. Closing and opening the unit on a daily basis is a little tedious--not hard to do, just tedious. So I keep mine set up in the family room and only close it up if we're entertaining at home. Also, I don't use the mat at all. My bar is set up on a carpeted surface, so the mat is redundant. I just leave the mat folded up. If I was using the bar on a wood floor, I'd use the mat. But on carpet, the mat just isn't necessary. I've had my other knee replaced this summer and once again the Fluidity bar is making my rehab exercises worlds easier. When this knee heals, I plan to start using the DVDs again. BTW, I found the pace of the beginner DVD a bit too fast initially as I was trying to get acquainted with the equipment and the routine, and I was surprised the work-out was only about 30 minutes long. Haven't tried the intermediate or advanced work-outs yet. And clearly, these work-outs aren't really designed to be cardio training. These are for strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility. I'd recommend this product for its solid construction, and its overall usefulness for a range of stretching, strengthening, and balancing workouts.

Topnotch!!!

7/3/2008 - Sherri of Illimois, USA writes:

I've been using the fluidity bar for 3 weeks now. After using it for the first time, I thought I was going to collapse! The more I've been using it, the more I love it. At first I had to pause a lot just to be able to get each exercise done, but that doesn't happen anymore, except when I'm doing the flat-back exercises, which are VERY hard. I usually have to do the ones for beginners, but I'm getting better. I watched the intermediate video, then tried it. It was a killer for me also, but I loved every minute of it. I would absolutely recommend this to everyone. Shipping is ridiculous, but you won't regret getting it. I noticed a lot of people complained about the weight of the bar, but I think it is just fine for such a quality piece of equipment. About the only thing that could be improved on is the mat, which really isn't that bad. Order one....you won't regret it if you're serious about getting in better shape!

It works!

6/18/2008 - Tricia of NJ, USA writes:

I have been using this since January and have lost 80 lbs. I was a size 16 and now wear a size 5/6. With losing so much weight, the Fluidity bar has helped me tone and firm up because losing all of that weight can result in sagging parts! This works and I intend to use it as long as possible. I suffer from Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy in my left leg so I am unable to do any cardio that involves jumping on my leg. This product is just what I needed.

This Bar Really Works!

6/8/2008 - Crystal of AR, USA writes:

I purchased the fluidity bar as a mothers day gift to myself since I knew my husband wouldn't get me anything I had seen the infomercial all over the place for a while and it looked really interesting. I've lost 60 lbs on my own working out eating better etc so I'm always on the lookout for new workouts to add variety to my routine. Yes it was pricey and yes shipping was outrageous but it was worth it this is a quality piece of equipment it's well built and very easy to put together since it's already assembled for you! The dvds are awesomely put together straight forward and to the point there are no gimmicks! But like others said this will work if you work it you can't just halfway do something and expect instant results I am doing fluidity 2 times a week and cardio/weight training 3 days a week I've been using the fluidity system for 3 weeks now and I can tell a difference in how I carry myself and how flexible I am I ordered the whole package with the ball and resistance bands and 3 dvds and in my mind it was worth the cost since I do enjoy it so much! I can't wait to see what results I will get with continued useage..the only thing I didn't like though was the customer service which I think has come up on here before they assumed since I paid with my credit card I would like an automatic withdraw on my monthly payments which I would've preferred to pay with a check I sent them several emails about this and no response so yeah the customer service is pretty bad but the bar is excellent!

Just got it, love it!

5/27/2008 - Christine of Alabama, USA writes:

I just got the fluididty bar last week and I was surprised at how easy the work out was. I used muscles I did not know I could work out that easily. I don't care that the mat is slightly diff thicknesses. The important thing is the work out, which actually made me sweat. I will try to combine it with cardio. My sister has been using the whole system since Valentines day and She looks awsome, no joke she has all this deffenition in her legs and thigs, since she was a kid she was always plagued by stick legs, no more. She loves it and I do too. Great for beginers.

Excellent Product

5/4/2008 - Bea of Kanagawa, Japan writes:

I have had the Fluidity Bar for 2 months now. I have lost an inch off my waist and an inch and a half off my hips (without dieting) in that time. It has been a very long time since I've lost anything - my pattern (now in my late 40's) has been one of only gaining recently - so I LOVE this bar! In fairness, I bought the bar to go with the Bar Method dvds and Callanetics, and it does work brilliantly with those. But I enjoy the Fluidity dvds also. They are a little shorter - the Beginner dvd is 30 minutes, and I love doing that one before work. The stretches are fantastic! I really feel rejuvenated after doing that workout, the combination of strengthening and stretching feels absolutely wonderful and I feel energized all day from it. Even without the slimming results, I would do the exercises because they really do make you feel good. I'm understanding what Michelle means when she talks about a more functioning body. Since doing these exercises I feel so much more flexible, stronger, just more physically competent than before. I have a confidence in my movements that I haven't had for years.

Buyer Beware!!!

5/1/2008 - Susie of Ohio, USA writes:

I found the mat, which is an integral part of this workout product, to be of very cheap and inferior quality. There are large gaps between the three sections of the mat and the three sections are all different thicknesses. It is very difficult to balance on one foot, as many of the moves require, with this type of unwieldy surface to stand on. The DVDs are terrible. Ms Austin is neither personable nor motivational and rushes through the workouts -- you get the impression that even she is not enjoying the workout very much! I have repeatedly done the beginner DVD, but her explanation and demonstrations are so lacking that I am not very confident that I am doing any of the moves/positions correctly. The return policy is absolutely insulting to consumers! I am going to follow the lead of another poster and contact the Better Business Bureau regarding this company. I would strongly recommend avoiding any dealings with this company.

Very disciplined work out

5/1/2008 - Ella of San Diego, US writes:

I received my Bar about 2 months ago and I am still using the Beginners DVD. I used to be very flexible and fit but I fell victim to the 'college 10' a few years ago and it's been hard for me to get back in shape. Stretching was always my favorite part of a work out and decided to give Fluidity a shot. I am not disappointed at all. I've been only doing the Beginners because I noticed that my form was not correct for some of the exercises, if you don't feel anything then you're probably not doing it right. Once I get my form spot on I will move up but I have noticed a tremendous change in my posture, in the way I walk, I feel taller and even more elegant in everything I do. I must warn that the Fluidity work out is very disciplined, you need the dedication of a dancer in order to see any promising results.

Works if you work it!

3/29/2008 - Andrea of Georgia, USA writes:

I love this product. It's easy to fold and put away so it doesnt take up a lot of space. The DVD's last about 30min and definately deliver a great workout. After only 2 sessions you can definately feel the difference in your energy level. I've had this for about a year now and can honestly say it is well worth the money. It will definately give you a lean toned body. If you use it; it will work!

I hated this workout. The bar was confusing to put up and it was hard to store. The workout was boring and slow pace. Now I have the hassle of returning it.
