This was my first time ordering from t.v. and boy, it was a bad experience! I wish i would of read these reviews before i tried it! It does nothing like everyone said, all the things are a joke! Do not use this stuff, you might as well just flush your money down the toilet.

I should have known when I heard Billy May's soprano shout that this offer would be a scam! Fix-It fixes nothing. It removes only one thing: the consumer's money. I tried it on all kinds of scratches. Nothing! Light ones, deep ones, no difference! When I called to return it, I was over the 30-day guarantee. Well, that would not have made much difference. WARNING! When you open the product, you CAN NOT receive a full refund! That's the cover for this group of liars! You won't know that Fix-It won't work unless you open it and use it. By doing that, you lose! If you want a product that works as well as Fix-It, just spit on your left hand and rub the scratch with your right hand. Compare the results: they are identical! I tried seeking justice through the Better Business Bureau, but they are as useful as talking to the Fix-It folks over the phone! Two final comments: don't trust anything from Simoniz anymore, and, if Billy Mays says it in his squeaky soprano yell, consider it a lie!

I saw this product on tv, and made the mistake of actually buying it. It does absolutely NOTHING. I applied it on a scratch, and nothing happened. I applied it again, and still nothing. After the 5th try, i just gave up. Not only that, if i return it, i'll end up spending more money then i'll get back. DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT.

This product does not work at all. My car has a pencil line type of scratch and it look exactly the same after applying the product. No change what so ever

I got taken in by this product. I declined the vacumm but they charge me and sent it anyway. Neither product works I GOT SCAMMED. Please don't purchase this garbage Bill Mays should be ashamed for selling this crap.

product does not work period the vacuum doesnt pick up any thing like shown the power buffer goes off when u touch it to your scratch the liquid fix it for scratches is more like a condiment u get in a fast food store (meaning very fine liquid) and whats even worse is you cant get your money back

This product does not work, even on light surface scratches. Total rip off! The company also sent me a vaccum, which I declined when I purchased the Fix It. They charged me $12.95 shipping for a vaccum I never ordered.

this is the kind of stuff the government would pay $100 a bottle for. that guy mays should be off the air and awaiting trial.IT STINKS!!!!!!

I've never bought anything from those stupid infomercials.Won't again!! However, this looked like it would be great for small scratches without getting out the buffer or doing it by hand. The buffer that comes with this product is cheaper than the toys out of a gumball machine and the so called polish is worthless. Lesson learned; spend the money on the well known auto polish products! I can't believe Simoniz put their name on this.

3/11/2008 - danny of Pennsylvania, USA writes:
i am so dissapointed with the whole package the buffer dont work it stops as soon as you go on to the car. the fix it cream for scratches does absolutly nothing. and i noticed i paid more for shipping then the products are even worth the vacuum they show you on tv isnt the shark vacuum its a cheap made in china vacuum and it doesnt even pick up ashes so i thought i was the only one but we all can agree it DOES NOTHING!!!!

Fix It? Fix what? If anything, it made my car worse. Stupid swirl marks left over and the worst part is even the lightest of all scratches is still there. You're better off using toothpaste if you ask me. The buffing tool is a joke, the vacuum sucks (in not the way it was made to do) and the product itself is just a scam. DO NOT TRUST THAT IDIOT BILLY MAYS AND HIS INFOMERCIALS. YOU'LL REGRET IT!

What a joke!!!! Product does nothing like advertised. DO NOT BUY unless you want to waste your money. Took forever to get Free gifts are not really free. Shipping is very expensive. Crap Crap Crap!!!!

I did try "fix it" on very small scratches -absolutely nothing changed, regular wax seems to be working much better.I dont know what this cream is made off but for sure doesn't work as a scratch remover.Because of this experience I will never buy anything from TV again.

1/14/2008 - CJ of Tennessee, USA writes:
This product does not work. And you cannot return any unopened portion, which means you can't return the auto bottle since you have to open it to try it. I am returning the Home Applicance bottle, but will only get $9.95 back on it. The vac is a "non-returnable" item since it is "free". And the little spinning pad stops spinning as soon as you touch it to the car. Waste of time and money. Don't waste either by buying this product.

I purchased this product in hopes that it would take care of a few minor scratches i got from freeway rocks and parking lots on my new Infinity G35. I was not expecting for the liquid to knock out all of the scratches, but at least a few. It Didn't change a thing. All the scatches are still there and look the same. This product is a scam!

12/20/2007 - Jack of Maryland, USA writes:
Received it, opened as soon as I had time and the weather good. Does not perform at all as advertised. I should have read some of these reviews first.

I brought this product initially to use on another vehicle I owned, but when my car got scratched in the parking lot I used the fix it and what would have cost me 500.00 was gone in mins minus two small scratches which I plan on rebuffing later on.

11/19/2007 - David of Florida, USA writes:
This product does not work - if you want to return it, you can only return unopened product, and must pay the shipping cost. In addition, they offer this vacuum with the product for "free" that you pay the shipping on. The vacuum does not work very well, has no significant suction, it would not pick up sand in my vehicle, just a very light amount. Of course if you want to exchange the vacuum, you must pay shipping for it to go back and then for the replacement. By the time all this is done, you would have paid like $60.00 for a bunch of junk product. What a rip-off.

11/15/2007 - Dave of Vermont, USA writes:
Got rid of some very light scratches, but probably no more than what a cheap rubbing compound could accomplish. The "free" car-vac (which actually cost me $12.95 in shipping) has so little suction power, it would barely lift the dust out of my car seats. Needless to say, I am disappointed, especially since the return policy is only for unopened product, which means if you try it, forget sending it back. I'll never buy from BILLY MAYS again.

10/26/2007 - Colleen of New York, USA writes:
I purchased this product and it did not work for me! I called to see if there was a refund and there is a 30 day refund if the product is unopened which does not make any sense since you have to open the product to try it.
