I bought this, and tried to use it one time, It broke, I did not even get the satisfaction of using it, so I really can't tell you how it works, I tried it on curtains, and I did not even get one stitch in, and it just stopped, I could not get it to work at all. Please don't waste your money on this garbage, your better off with a regular sewing machine, or good old fashioned thread and needle.

I love to sew, but this thing is plain terrible I couldn't even get mine to work the first 3 times then when it did the stich was falling apart, The only thing I have found usefull about it, is all the extra thread, I just use it for my normal sewing machine.

Stay away from this product. We bought three of these and they are impossible to work with. I'd do better with a needle and thread. Threading this is harder than the worst sewing machine. Buyer beware!!

Very bad product. Don't even try it. Too much trouble to make sure it doesn't unravel. I can't even think of 25 total words to make my point.

I was given this as a gift, hoping I could make simple repairs or even sew with it. What a JOKE. The stitches are loose and easily rip out. Sorry to say but there have been no compact sewing machines made that will give you quality. I have 2 other portable machines which are both as bad as this one. If you want a machine that produces quality stitches, and good for simple sewing get a good used sewing machine. (We found one for $12.50 and it works much better than this!)

I bought this item thinking it would be good for hems or simple stitches. I was wrong, it stitches up nothing. The thread comes right off. Waste of my money and time.

I bought it today and I will return it tomorrow. Like it was already described in a rating above, it leaves a lot of gaps, knots, and when it looks like it has worked, it comes undone right away. It was very frustrating to try to get it to work properly.

If you want to throw money away, you'll be much more satisfied if you throw the cash in a fire, than if you buy this product. I recieved it as a gift, so thankfully I didn't waste my own money on this contraption. I attempted to use it twice, and both times the thing isnt even powerful enough to stich a thing. It does serve one purpose though, if you HAVE to get a gift for someone you don't really like, this is the perfect gift. It will infuriate them.

This machine doesn't work because the thread does not have anything to hole it. It should have a second thread!!!

this is really crappy shit. it does work, but when your done, and pull the thread, it comes right off again. it gets stuck a lot too.it leaves lots of gaps in your sewing too. waste of my money!
