Dont Bother

Spent 3 hours trying to get this to work on multiple types of dents. The glue didn't hold on any try. This product is not at all effective and I would recommend that you save your money.

Kinda worked

6/3/2008 - John of Az, USA writes:

It kinda worked on the middle of the door of my car, you can still see the dent though, but it does come with a hot glue gun and some wierd black glue sticks that seem to work very well on other things, I have used it for other small craft projects so thats a plus..I guess

Pulled my paint

10/22/2007 - Henry of Texas, USA writes:

Tried this product..... It pulled my paint right off my 2003 Dodge Neon SRT4. Dime size!!!!! This cheap product ended up costing me 200 bucks to get the paint touched up and getting the ding professionally taken out.

It pulled paint.

5/14/2007 - Asad of Tennessee, USA writes:

I bought Ding King the other day from ebay to remove a small dent from my motorcycle tank. The instructions say that it is safe on all OEM paint. I followed the instruction in the manual step by step and it ended up pulling the paint off!! My bike has OEM paint. There was no damage to the paint before I started using the DING KING, now there is a big chip of paint missing!! Because of this I am going to have to take my vehicle to a body shop causing charges that I would have not encountered other wise. I took a bunch of picture to prove it!! I cannot find an email address for Ding King so I can talk to them about the damage! Does any one know their email address? (and not the one at dingking.com cause that is ONLY there sales department…complete BS)

$25.00 cost me $750.00

3/2/2007 - Joyce of California, USA writes:

I bought the Ding king thinking it might fix a small dent that my car had since it was a week old. (2005 BMW) What happened was that the product pulled the dent out too far. The ding king left my dent looking much worse than it was and I eventually had to call a paintless dent repair guy to come fix it. He said that it would normally have cost about $150.00 to fix a small ding like my original one, however it was now in need of an expensive bodyshop repair.

Saved me money for sure

1/5/2007 - Steve of Wisconsin, USA writes:

I was Actualy quite surprised how well this worked.. I've fixed a tennis ball size dent in my motorcycle gas tank, and my dad used it to pull out a decent size dent from where a deer ran into his car... It will never make it perfect and it takes some time and alot of trys, but you can get the dent mostley out to where you cant really notice it unless you see the waveyness in the sunlight... Anyways, it saved my family alot of money

Great for smallish dents

12/23/2006 - Michael of Georgia, USA writes:

I took several dents out of my 99 Subaru Outback with the system. Some took 2X to get it all out. Definitely an improvement on all dents I used it on; most completely gone (depends on where the dents were- some metal is more springy than other places). Fairly easy to find besides on TV. Recommended.

It works

12/11/2006 - Anonymous of Virginia, USA writes:

I bought this to fix a dent in a motorcycle gas tank. The dent was about the size of a half-dollar. This product actually worked very well and the dent is nearly gone I think that there is no way to completely remove a dent, since the metal stretches when dented; still, this is a good product that doees what it claims.

Worked great for me

6/11/2006 - Vito of Massachusetts, USA writes:

I used for a quarter sized dent in my new truck. It took 2 tries, but the dent is almost invisible. My friend used for a tennis ball size dent in his Saab, you can hardley tell where the damage was. The only problem I had is that the glue did not come off completely the second time I used the product. I called customer service and talked to a live person (imagine that). I say this product is great for minor dings, but don't expect to fix major body damage.

Worth the $20 I paid!

5/5/2006 - Bryan of Colorado, USA writes:

I bought this at a local auto parts store for about $20 to remove some small dings from a recently purchased used car. While I had to repeat the process a few times, the product did work as advertised. About a year after purchase someone backed into the tailgate of my new SUV and by carefully using the tool I was able to successfully completely pop out the dent in the tailgate. It wasn't perfect, but it ended up being a "ding" more than a "dent". I later took it to a local dent clinic to have them "finesse" the repair and he was surprised at the good results I had gotten with the tool. He said it saved me about $100 over what he would have charged.

Partly removes a dent with a lot of work

4/20/2006 - Paul of California, USA writes:

Not a miracle product, but if you d are willing to spend at least an hour and maybe several, it can make a dent smaller and less noticable. A friends truck backed into the door on my 2000 civic, and made a small dent (about the size of a half dollar) and I thought I'd try the ding king Result: The glue gun they provide is practically worthless. I had to melt the glue by using the tip rather than by putting the glue sticks thru the gun. However the glue can be used over and over again by remelting it so you really don't need much. I went thru about 7 cycles, during each of which you have to wait 5 minutes for the glue to cool, so its good to try this repair while you are doing something else, After all this the dent is somewhat smaller and less visable, but not gone

Fantastic

4/19/2006 - John of Maryland, USA writes:

Purchased a new Jeep. The next day someone backed into the rear tailgate. Purchased the product and found this item actually works! Saved several $250.00 in repairs. After 3-4 slow applications the dent was completely removed. A little touch-up paint and the dent was gone.
