This DVD is awesome! Its just long enough to work up a sweat but short enough to fit into any busy lifestyle. Its perfect to get toned for summer or any time of year. I used this DVD very frequently but misplaced it, and had a hard time finding another copy. I'm so glad I have it back and recommend it to everyone!

I have been using the series of DVDs for over 18 months. The results within the first 2-3 months were outstanding and I've continued ever since. Key is to get the additional DVDs (got mine []) and rotate between the workouts so that your muscles are always challenged. And another key is to do the cardio and the proper eating that any trainer would recommend. I lost more weight than planned and now have an athletic body that I never imagined I could have achieved. Gunner is an excellent instructor/trainer, explains and does all the workouts along with you.

i know this is a long review i do suggest you read on to be entirely sure about this product. I have to say has a teenager of 17 trying to be muscly that's tried enough "as seen on tv" products like the 6 second abs, ab lounge, ab scissors ultra, total gym, vigorfit, gravity force trainer and all the magazines i can truly say this product at such a low price rele does kick a$$. First off i'd like to criticise other reviews. all the ones that say nice things are rated fake for some reason and the ones saying it's boring are rating it real. it's not just this product but any review that criticises it brutally is real and any nice things said = fake. Isn't the idea of this site is to see which are good ones and which are bad ones? nevermind back to the point. My main criticism is that the idea of using a swiss ball and weights isnt rele a new innovation. I suppose that's why it works. ppl who complain that a ball is too wobbly - you've underinflated it. ppl who find it too easy - you've overinflated it. Firstly i recommend a quality set of dumbells. not large bulky ones make 'em small but heavy in weight because with my bulky dumbells i was knocking everything in site. another thing is i recommend using a resistance band instead and like anchor it round a door as it's much easier. For myself it's been nearly 2 months consistently training with it and i've found that my slightly untoned one pack has become a six pack and because of the aerobic nature of the workout which are almost interval like (which i recommend as the best cardio training) my legs have some tone but not much i suppose it's cos of my naughty diet! my arms i have to say are remarkably sculpted with some lateral back muscles to get the v shape. i could still do with more trimming with my stomach which i think the workout slightly lacks. it's tiring but not in a cardio way. i suggest adding ur own cardio like doing 10x 30 second sprints of the rower/treadmill/jogging/elliptical/bike with 1 minute moderate in between. if you watch the informercial enough you can actually steal a few exercises saving you buying it. but be careful in which order you train - over work some muscles whilst neglecting some. the trainer guy isnt much of a enthusiast but technically it's ur own fault for not being motivated to keep fit. what i find is that once you know the basic exercises you dnt need to subscribe to the extra videos. u could just find some stuff on the internet like i've done :D The main reason i recommend this against any other bull product is that you know a swiss ball is used around the world unlike stuff like the ab lounge (if you watch 40 yr old virgin the guy plays videogames sitting on one!!!!!!) So please take this review seriously because there are some precautions you should take which arent entirely urged in the dvd's: dumbell size, add cardio, inflation, form, motivation, diet, thats all and thank you for reading, JK

I am in so-so shape (usually jog 3-4 miles 3-4 x week, but 50 lbs overweight. I have had chronic lower-back pain for the past 7-8 years, worstening over the past 18 months. Have followed the DVD with my wife (not overweight, so-so shape), and both of us found that it was very effective. These workouts have really helped my lower back pain (only been using it for the past 3 weeks). Nothing conclusive yet, but very surprised at how quickly my pain has subsided. I have had to adjust the reps to my level of fitness (have the remote handy to hit pause) & have a few sets of dumbells ready to go. When purchasing, I found the operator very aggresive, trying to make me buy all kinds of extra things (food supplements, more DVD's etc.) Same thing when I cancelled the program--very obnoxious. But I like the DVD, and the results.

So booring I never made it half way through the DVD. It has been sitting in my closet for months....The ball takes up a lot of space to store.

I am 35 years old and I bought this video to try to get back in shape after my daughter (3rd child) was born. I was an intermediate exerciser prior too my pregnancy, but I didn't get much exercise while I was pregnant. I tried the first video and found it too easy. I didn't even break a sweat (even after 10-11 months with not much exercise) and it was too slow paced. I purchased two additional videos, hoping they would be more "advanced". They were too easy as well. I did really like the fitness ball I got to keep. Bottom line... these videos are OK for beginners. But I think there are alot better videos on the market!!! Try The Firm, Kathy Smith, Yoga Booty Ballet, etc

I did not buy Core Secrets from the infomercial but can't believe what a great workout this actually is. The first time I used this I hurt in places I didn't know existed and could feel the positive effects right away. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and the results are phenominal. I have been working out for years and haven't seen results like this or this fast. I highly recommend this!!

This product is npt going to give you an aroebic workout. It will give you tighter abs as will most crunches. Here is the beauty of this workout. I have a bad back and cannot do crunches on a mat or floor. The ball allows me to do situps. It is great and the program is great to work with.I love the ab assualt workout. To sum up working with the ball is a backsaver and I haven't had a back attack in along time, thank goodness.

I LOVE THIS WORKOUT. IT DOESN'T EVEN FEEL LIKE YOU WORKED OUT BY THE TIME ITS OVER. THE NEXT DAY I CAN DEFINITELY TELL WHICH AREAS OF MY BODY I WORKED OUT. IF YOU LISTEN TO HIM ON THE VIDEO YOU WILL ACHIEVE RESULTS. ALL IT TAKES IS THE TIME. AFTER 1 MONTH I KNEW THE EXERCISES VERY WELL AND NOW I DON'T NEED THE VIDEOS. I JUST WATCH MY SHOWS WHILE I USE THE BALL. ITS GREAT. I WILL ALWAYS RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT IF THE CONSUMER HAS THE TIME TO PUT INTO IT.

My experience: I have been active my entire life (mostly sports.. gymnastics, volleyball, swimming, dancing.. etc). I stopped participating in those activities over the past two years and had gotten out of shape.. not overweight.. but out of shape. I picked up The TransFirmer-- It made me sweat and I enjoyed it- but I wanted to try something different. I've always done a lot of pilates-- recently I got into yoga.. Zumba.. Cathe etc. So My different something ::::::::::::: CORE SECRETS ::::::::::::: My heart rate never went up. I got a better upper body work from Any of my other dvds. Perhaps this is good for someone that just sits around all day-- or someone that is afraid to break a sweat. It has a few good techniques that can be found on any pilates dvd-- and many are much more exciting. I found the trainers voice to be annoying-- I didn't enjoy the music... You can get a ball and do these exercises without the tape... If you're going to do a ball workout-- at least do an exciting one... If you DO have this dvd and are planning to loose weight with it--- and you're that out of shape where you're actually sweating with this--- It should be your push to get in shape-- not your drive to master and maintain that current level of fitness.

My girlfriend and I picked up the TV Offer set and have been using it for about a week now. I'm maybe 10 heavier than I want to be, but I really bought them to tighten things up. The first Accelerated work out left me sore the next morning.. mostly in the abs and legs. The second evening I increased the weights and found a more balanced soreness across my upper and lower body. I do have to criticize a few of the other reviews saything that it does nothing for you. First of all, proper form is the key. If you slack in your form, you won't get nearly the workout that you are looking for. You really do need to focus on using the appropriate muscle group for each excercise. My girlfriend was guilty of this the first 2 nights. Last night we worked on her form and she's paying the price this morning. Secondly, the proper inflation of the ball is important. If you inflate it too much, for your body height, you won't be using all the stabilization muscles that Gunnar refer's to in the video. The same goes for underinflation. There are some of the workouts that, althought he doesn't use weights, can be used with weights to increase the resistance. I would recommend Core Secrets but I would also emphasise, as with virtually any workout video/session, proper form. This keeps you from injuring yourself and isolates the appropriate muscle groups for each workout. The videos aren't going to make you more fit.. you're going to make yourself more fit.. Core Secrets is just the tool. As Gunnar says in one of the videos.. "don't phone these in people".. Do the exercise and you'll get the results.. Enjoy!
