My 19.95 was over 60 bucks. The auger comes out of the part-time working drill constantly, and don't hit a rock or you may have your hand yanked off your arm. My thrill of a cool looking tool left me very soon after I recieved the awesome??????? auger.

The Awesome Auger was received about 6 weeks after ordering. The box contained the auger bits of various sizes, an electric drill with a short cord about a foot long, and an extension piece, allowing use of the product without bending over. Got 2 of everything, only ordered one. This product is cheaply made, and very unsafe to use. Vibration causes the poorly attached bits to come loose from the extension. If this happens while you are drilling, serious injury can result! Stay away from this product! The total charge will be much higher than expected, due to ridiculously high shipping and handling costs (about 3 times the price of the product).

When we first began trying to order this, we found a number of websites with the "awesome auger" on them, all apparently leading to the same company. We ordered it on August 5, and it arrived today, September 22, so it took a while to get. It's a very simple product, just a screw auger on a shaft, and it seems to do what it says. Watch out when you order it though, it took forever to read the fine print. If you want the drill, the shipping cost is more than you can buy a drill for. So we opted for only the auger, and that's all you get, no bonus, no extender, just two augers, one big, one small, each about 10 inches long. Seem well made, but hey, it's a chunk of steel, so I guess that's hard to mess up. As I say, just read the prices for the optional extras carefully.
