Only an idiot would benefit from this!!!!!

4/14/2008 - Brett of AL, USA writes:

I purchased this product and of course I knew everything that was in the material. My main reason to have bought the product was to get the list of drop ship suppliers and other suppliers. Well...all of the products are junk. I just dont see being able to sell a pallet of pencil erasers on ebay. Seriously, the products were bad and anyone could do an internet search and find these sights. What really got me was when the material said do a search on google to find certain manufacturers. I am sorry, but anyone who can get on the internet already knows this information. Please everyone, take my advice and stay away from this. And if you do still decide to do this, then I have a business proposition for you.

Auctions for Income

4/12/2008 - Mike of Minnesota, USA writes:

After seeing the infomercial a few times, I purchased this program. Although most of the information seemed like a no-brainer, there were things that I currently was not doing when selling on []. The initial kit was worth the investment for the tips but the "suggested" drop shipping company is one owned by Dave and coaching is not much more useful than the kit. You can't buy your way to wealth.

Auctions for Income/I already knew it all

4/1/2008 - Barbara of Kentucky, USA writes:

I purchased this, hoping I would put more kick into my eBay sales (I have been selling since 1999) and unfortunately, there was nothing I didn't already know. I think if someone has NEVER sold on eBay, and knows NOTHING about it, this WOULD help them. I didn't get a call for an upgrade / Coach thing (thank goodness) and I was not charged any extra. I am probably gonna resell it on ebay, and I bet I won't make my money back. So I would say, for me, this was a lost investment.

Works if you work it.

8/20/2007 - Jerry of Illinois, USA writes:

I have purchased and used this system for about 2 years. If you are naive enough to believe the hype, I have some prime land in Florida to sell. At the time I had no money and didn't have any know how of Ebay. Sure most of what he teaches can be found in the help files of Ebay. but this takes some knowledge. Espino's system was great because I had no money to start my business. For $40.00 I was in business. Talk about low barriers to entry! I had 20,000 comics to sell and his books gave me the knowledge to learn how to sell them. Sure I could have done this by trial and error but it was a lot quicker this way. I now have a feedback rating near 500 with only 1 blemish and that was due to the post office. He also gives invaluable advice on how to get more product to sell.

Not Great, But Not Horrible

7/8/2007 - Adam of Pennsylvania, USA writes:

In all you recieve 4 magazine sized books. Most of the information he presents is obvious, and can easily be picked up by reading ebay help files, however some of the hints on wholesale and auction optimization where useful. His wholesale service is junk, ebay is so saturated with the the crap it would be hard to even break even. I wouldn't spend your money on this, you can pick up more information on the ebay forums and help files, plus you will get nonstop calls from "trainers" wanting more money.

It's definetely a SCAM!!!!!

6/28/2007 - Donna of Massachusetts, USA writes:

This is another attempt at Dave Espino trying to make more money! This is a product just as everyone says to "Make money for Dave only!" I was suckered by the infomercial to buy the product for 39.95 plus an additional $10.00 to put it on DVD rather than video. What a joke (it doesn't cost them any more $$ to switch media. By the time you add S/H your up to about $65.00 from a 39.95 advertised price. You do get what is advertised on TV. 5 books and a tape. The books are the size of a cheap coloring book with very few pages and LARGE type. Everything in the books are simple things that people who sell on E-Bay would already know. I learned nothing! I have bought and sold about 50 items on E-Bay and I learned absolutely nothing. It was a big disappointment. I am sure that all of this information is available for FREE on E-Bay. I figured "What the heck!" It was worth the try. I've wasted $$ on more stupid things. Last night I get a call from someone claiming to be a coach saying they are very interested in my success. They said I needed to speak with his supervisor. His name was Jared. Jared was looking at a pricetag of around 5K-10K investment to get my "business" started. They said they would be with me every step of the way. I decided to check out all the websites today regarding scams and such and found many that claim this is in fact a scam. The only one getting richer is Dave Espino. EBay is saturated with sellers and everyone gets access to the same items for the same wholesale prices so what makes your auction better than theres? Get where I'm going with this. Please, please, please do your homework!!!! Do not invest in this scam. If you don't believe me please keep surfing the web for "Auctions for income scams" and keep reading till you start to see what we're all saying is true. I'm sure I haven't heard the last from Jared, but I will not become a victim either.

Exceeded my Expectations

3/20/2007 - Dan of Indiana, USA writes:

I purchased the product, it came promptly, I had purchased on ebay before but never sold anything. I thought the package would help me learn how to list items easier than struggling with the ebay system by myslef. I found the info very straight forward and I sold a bunch of suff I had around the house which was my main goal. It provided many ideas on how to find other things to buy and list I tried a few susccessfully but it is like most things...if you want to make big money doing it be prepared to spend some time. I did raise over $3 K with stuff I was glad to get rid of that was taking up space in my garage. I got my $39.95 back and then some so I was quite happy.

No time for it

1/24/2007 - Kevin of New Jersey, USA writes:

I saw the infomercial a few times before I "bought into the program". I quickly reviewed it before I got it but just couldn't put enough time together to really get it going. I received an uncountable number of phone calls from my "coach". Finally sent him packing. Recently I looked a little deeper into it and realized that although the claim is you can start off part time and use this as part time income to make this work effectively you'd need to set up a business with shipping accounts and a bank account, etc. I just don't have time for this...

Auctions for Income - Yeah, right.

1/19/2007 - Bobby of Minnesota, USA writes:

This informercial looked pretty interesting. I watched it about a dozen times before I purchased it. After about a week or so, the phone calls started coming in. I was passed from one AFI employee after another. Each asking a series of questions, then being passed up the line to their "manager". Finally talked to the big shot in charge. Ray was his name. Really turned the pressure on, wanting me to invest another $5,000.00 on my credit card for a personal coach. This was way more than I wanted to spend. I sent the whole package back, and also had to write a letter to the company to stop this Ray guy from calling and harassing me. AVOID like the plaque. Dont be lazy!

7/12/2006 - Peter of Florida, USA writes:

I woke up one morning and heard the info commerical and yea me and my buddy got excited on selling stuff on ebay, so we bought the product. after reading it, we realized " man this is harder than we thought" 2 days later they offered to upgrade us with a "coach" to help us. Its cost $2000.00! We thought hell what have we got to loose. the "coach" told us about the potential of selling on ebay and it was a disaster, beacuse too many people are selling if fact we lost money. We dont deal with ebay anymore. at lease not for now. BUT WAIT! The package included in making our own website and selling our own products. So we invested in our own website, and we are acutally making alot of money, but dont be lazy because what you put into the business is what you get out of it. Its highly successful!

Wolf in Sheeps Clothing

6/29/2006 - Thomas of Delaware, USA writes:

A very well organized, beautifuly printed, absolutely major screw job. These people pull out all stops to bait, switch and hook you. Then they go far beyond all your imagination to extort more money from you with this "information" kit. All information is common knowledge, and they offer no true "how to" instructions. They use this product only to tease you into thinking with a little more (paid) help they can launch you to riches. There are few things in this product that are useful. You basicaly get ten cents worth of good for thirty nine dollars of cost. I bought this and fell victom to their scam. Now I can not get a refund from these liars.

I was fortunate but it took work

6/16/2006 - Mike of Texas, USA writes:

I called and ordered the Auctions for Income product. Paid the tv infomercial price and shipping and got the books. Any good information? Yes. Could some of the basic information be used to get some extra income? sure. However, a week later I was called and asked questions. This was the sales pitch to get my money. The exact amount I forget but it around $5500. I did join, but I later decided to get out of it. Somehow let me out of the deal. I was lucky! Do not get suckered into this scam. If you want to order the basic package for some good ideas, that's fine. Be warned that once you order, they will give you a week or so to "look it over". Then they call and they use smooth talking and very high pressure tactics. Don't be folled, they only want your money!

Scam

5/20/2006 - Dan of Pennsylvania, USA writes:

Purchased the product and went through it. Pretty good info at first. However, I received a call from their mentor program and went through the ringer for an hour. They said the course on TV won't bring you the success story. You needed to purchase the additional mentor training. Wouldn't give a price until you told them how much money you have in the bank and how much you have left on a credit card to use up. I kept on insisting on a price and they wouldn't answer. This felt like going to buy a car. Very painful and a very bad experience. I finally received a quote for around $10K but wouldn't tell me what the package included. A waste of time.

Not at all worth the price---BEWARE!!

5/7/2006 - Kris of California, USA writes:

In a nutshell, I spent 5000 on the coaching progrma PMI to coach me on how to sell []. 30hrs/wk. and 3mo's later I made only 400bucks. You do the math. Worth the time/money? Unfortunately I cannot retrieve my refund because, through my naiveness and really wanting this to work, I tried to make it work instead of getting a refund before my 3 day refund period ended. My money is gone never to return (at least from them...) I'm just telling my story, along with others..., to keep others from falling the same trap that I've fallen into. If you really really want to learn about how to effectively sell items [] for a living, then go to the source for the info... the [] website. Its free, all the resourses you need are there, and the support staff in the free [] online chatrooms are probably more knowlegable. God bless

SCAM TO GET MORE MONEY FROM YOU!!

1/7/2006 - Wendy of British Columbia, Canada writes:

I bought this product received its not much more then a few booklets and a dvd there are no secrets in the booklet most of the stuff you can get straight off ebay from their tips and hits on selling your item. Also what they dont mention in the infomertial is that you need to upgrade to actually get a coach and upgrading cost over $5000 dolllars. They want over $1000 just to set up your ebay store which does not cost that much. They want $1000 just for the coach. and the rest goes towards setting up a emai account once again this items can be done for less then $50 or even free. Its just a scam to get more money out of you. DONT BUY IT I AM STILL IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING A REFUND. HORRIBLE BUSSINESS IN A BOX SCAM.

Be Prepared for an upgrade

1/5/2006 - Ed of Georgia, USA writes:

I bought the "package". The "package" was 5 booklets with "insider" tips To be honest, there were some ideas that I had not thought of But wait ..theres more! A few weeks after I got the "package" I received a phone call from the company telling me they want me to be "one of their success storys" . The representative told me that the company would "guide me personaly" through the deeper secrets of selling on line and "hold my hand" through the process. I would have my own personal consultant Then I could appear on TV as one of their satisfied coustomers. Was there a fee for this service I asked? The immeidate reply was that the representative did "not have that information After pushing her to the wall for a "ballpark" estimate she said the average price for this service was"about" $5000.00! I declined. I know now how this guy makes HIS money...and it aint all from ebay!
