Effective Product

UPDATE: I am a Lic. Mental Health Counselor in NYS. Lucinda Bassets program is extremely helpful, she utilizes techniques and interventions that help the client challenge their irrational thinking. Keep in mind when reading reviews you are probably reading reviews from individuals with a host of psychological disorders. Their perception may be distorted.

No, this does not work!

3/15/2008 - Hajar of Maine, USA writes:

The previous reviewer should not be making promises which cannot be kept! I am a psychologist and also have bipolar disorder along with panic disorder. Not panic attacks, but panic disorder. I had patients coming to me regarding this ''system'' and as I had read Lucinda's blog before this ''system'' ever came into being I decided to be my own guinea pig. I ordered the system and tried it since I have had frequent depression and anxiety as many of my patients do. This *may* work in people experiencing extremely mild situational depression and/or those who experience mild and possibly infrequent anxiety. Though as to being of any use to patients experiencing moderate to severe cases of depression and/or anxiety, it is of little value. I am not a proponent of a medications only approach and have used and recommended some similar techniques. As with any psychiatric issue of long standing nature the best approach by far is talk therapy and techniques in conjunction with medications as appropriate. Many for whom medications do not work, are those not suffering a psychiatric condition, who may have been prescribed the incorrect medications or those who could not or would not use a two pronged approach to their fullest benefit. I am even a practitioner who believes in the use of natural therapies and non-medical approaches. Though in my work have found the medications/therapy combination to actually have large success rates where this ''system'' fails to provide such if anything. Anecdotal information carries little weight with me.

If you use it, it WORKS

2/2/2007 - Lillian of Florida, USA writes:

It is obvious that the person who reviewed this and said []! I'm 27; I have suffered from anxiety and depression for 16 years. I've been on 12 different mood medications and have been hospitalized three times in my life. I tried this program during my lowest point last year, and can honestly say it saved my life. Lucinda Bassett provides many useful techniques for battling anxiety, and they WORK. But this is not something you can be sloppy about - you MUST use it for it to work. If you do, I promise you will see improvement in your symptoms. This worked for me when meds would not, and it can for you too.

Didn't work for me

1/4/2006 - Mike of Massachusetts, USA writes:

This program is very expensive and didn't work for me. All of the videos were a panel of people talking about how they overcame there anxiety. May be of help to people who are having anxiety for the first time, but everything they presented I already new from reading many books and thought it wasn't impresive or helpful at all.
