Alexis Vogel has developed a professional grade cosmetic system that gives you the tools and simple techniques to create the makeover of a lifetime. The system comes in two parts. The First part is the makeup, only available to professionals before, brushes and accessories. The Second part is the detailed video guide (available in VHS or DVD) and companion booklet. Alexis has developed two different systems based on a persons skin tone. The Dark Collection is for those with Medium Olive to Darker complexion. The Light Collection is for those with Pale Ivory to Light Olive complexion. Alexis Vogel's system comes with a carrying case with removable sectioned pouches. Each section has everything you'll need for the face, eyes, brows and lips.

I like the makeup, and the kit is great idea, the mascara is wonderful too, the container for the make up and power is deceiving, looks like A LOT more,that is disapointing,my kit came with PINK which I can not/will not wear, when I called to ask if I could exchange it, I was told "this kit is thought out by Alexis, this is what you should try/wear" okay, but I dont wear PINK EVER! they fixed that little problem it seems, you can ask for other colors now, my only other complaint is that when I would like to buy just an eyebrow pencil it's more than a little costly..over all you will like this

I absolutely love the foundation, powder and concealer. The color matches my skin, and I received many compliments on my complexion after I started using it. I purchased 1 year ago and still use those 3 products.

Finally, a product that performs as good as it claims! My husband purchased it as a gift and I have loved it ever since FOR FIVE years. The 'transformations' to model perfect really are true! I am 37 and this works well-it covers imperfections like acne, scars, too. I had previously tried various high-end makeups, department store expensive brands they made my skin worse. AV is high quality and lasts a long time. At my class reunion and many times people ask if I'm a model or used to be and it's all from AV. FINALLY, A PRODUCT THAT DOES WHAT IT SAYS and no pressure ordering. Ladies buy this one! You do need to apply the powder over the foundation and use the primer or it doesn't stay as well on oily skin.

I really love this system overall. The foundation doesn't work for me...I could not get an "accurate" shade, and it irritated my oily, acne-prone skin; which is a problem with me with almost all cosmetics. I love the "Dare" eyeshadow, and the blush especially. I wasn't thrilled with the mascara, but overall the products were fabulous. The instructional DVD was also great. I would buy this system all over again!

The foundation did not work for me. It did not do the full coverage as promised. However, I have always had this problem with foundations. I did return the product and am waiting on a return to my account.

As with most makeup kits I have tried, I really love parts of it and don't use other parts. I LOVE the Dare eyeshadow. I have never been able to get the "cat eyes" they advertise and fell like I need a professional to help me. But overall, I really like the products and the system.
