At first I enjoyed the bed but, after using it several times the ribs that holds the bed in a flat position began to separate and a large mound began to form. It was impossible to sleep on it. It was like trying to sleep on a large beach ball. I contacted AreoBed and they said I would have to purchase a repair kit. I explained the bed was not leaking from the outside. The problem was internal. They offered 25% off on the purchase of a new bed. I asked if the design had changed and was told no. I wasn't interested in purchasing another bed with the potential of the same issue.

I purchased an Aerobed Durasuede Queen on 5/6/07 and it was great bed that lived up to everything the company says. However today 1/9/08, the bed started bulging at one of the corners. Looks like the stitching broke from inside. I called AEROBED and without any issues, they are sending me a new bed. The product is great, except I may have received a defective product. So this may be a real quality control issue at Aerobed. I'm lucky this happened within the 1 year warranty. I would give the bed 5 stars if this issue did not happen. But if Aerobed did not live up to the warranty or if this happened after the 1 year warranty, I would've rated it 1 star.

I bought the Aero Queen size bed at [] in Canada for $100, after buying two other beds for about $50 each. The Aero bed lived up to its informercial in every way. It filled up in about 50 seconds. The mattress pad is easy to put on and keeps the sheets on. And being a heavy guy myself, the bed held me up, and almost felt like a regular mattress, never losing air/pressure. Takedown is again just as promised, deflating in about 1 minute. And it's so easy to rollup and it actually fits into the bag after you use it. I've had it for about 5 years now and no regrets.....I would buy another if I needed it.

I purchased a full sized Aero Bed with the adj. wand in June 2005 to fit on a platform bed and I have slept on it full time for three years and it is still going! About one a week I have to use the wand to fill it up a bit, but I LOVE IT.

We use the Aero Bed for a extra bed when we have company. We even used it when we went to Las Vegas and stayed in a time share. I am a big guy (250lbs) and the bed supports me and my wife and it is very comfortable to sleep on. I have noticed that the bed will lose a little air during the night. The bed does fit in the duffle bag. It takes about 5 minutes to do.

I purchased a full-size Aero Bed from [] approximately four years ago. I still have it, and it works fine as an occasional bed. We take vacations a couple of times a year, usually with large numbers of family members (most recently, 14 of us rented a cabin in Gatlinburg, TN for a week). As the adults tend to like their privacy, my kids (12 y/o and 7 y/o) sometimes get relegated to sleeping on a Hide-A-Bed couch, with its associated thin, lumpy mattress. The Aero Bed is easy to set up, fits nicely on top of the foldout sofa mattress, and is infinitely more comfortable for the kids. I wouldn't recommend this as a permanent mattress replacement, but as an occasional bed, it's adequate - even comfortable.

This worked fine as an OCCASIONAL bed. Would not recommend on a daily, or regular basis. Living in a relatively small NYC apt., it works fine for guests that stay over. Very easy to setup; take down took awhile to get use to getting ALL the air out. Otherwise, a great idea. Did not spring any leaks, although I have only used it about 10-15 times in a year.

These are great for guest bedrooms - I would not recommend using this as your full-time mattress because of the possiblity of leaks (it's basically a balloon - it will eventually develop stress "breaks" in the seams with a full-grown adult sleeping on it every single night), but as a guest bed, it's fantastic. It folds up, and doesn't take up much more space than a sleeping bag, but is so much more comfortable. My parents have one of the ones that you plug in to inflate, and while it's loud as all get-out, you can adjust the firmness, and it pretty much keeps its level of inflation throughout the night. Slept on an "off-brand" one at my in-laws and ended up pretty much on the floor by morning, so a genuine AeroBed seems to make a big difference in quality!

I have been sleeping on an Aerobed full time for a number of years now. Although very comfortable, they constantly develope leaks. I'm on my 5th one in the same number of years. I do a couple of patches, and then with the next leak, return it to the store I bought it at, for another one. Great idea, bad quality.

We have had the same king-sized Aerobed going on six years now and we still love it! Guests are always amazed when we pull out a king-sized bed for them! Everyone who has ever slept on it says it's wonderful! It has only gotten one hole in it (and that was from using it in a tent without sweeping first) but we patched it in two minutes and it's been fine ever since. I would highly recommend this product to anyone!

Before buying my own I used this product many times in other people’s houses. The twin size is terrible and very uncomfortable. The full size is a bit better. The queen size is really great so I bought that. I think this product is probably not great for every day use but for guests and for toting around your own extra bed when you need it it’s wonderful. I love that is has it's own storage bag that makes it great to store in the car.

I liked how easy it was to inflate/deflate. BUT after a couple months of sleeping on it, sprung a leak. I repaired, sprung another leak, I threw it out. NOT worth the money.

I ordered the Aero Bed several years ago to use as an "extra bed" on vacation. The bed sets up in seconds, is very durable (have had teenagers wrestling on it), and is more comfortable than most condo sofa beds. This product paid for itself after one week long vacation that kept us from getting an extra bedroom. We have used it over and over and over. It easily folds back up and fits in the duffle bag that came with.

We bought Aero Bed for company. We then bought another. Both twin size. I have slept on the Aero Bed and it is very comfortable. We have had both over 5 years and they have held up great.

This is my second Aero bed. the first one sprung a hole in deflated in the first night of use (after patching - it subsequently developed 2 more holes around the stitching in the bed). i returned this bed and was sent a new one by the company. the bed sprund a hole last night. i sending the second bed back for a full refund and i will never purchase another product from this company.

We have had our Aero Bed (On the floor type)for about 3 years. Great for guests. Very conforable and easy & quick to blow up and let the air out. Easy to store because of small size when air is out. We bought one and then bought another when the first one worked out so well for guests. Never had any leaks.

The Best thing about this bed I found was that when I woke up (on the ground) the bed was ready to put away. The air leak out of it.

I purchased a queen size aero bed and less than a year it had 'broken loose inside the bed causing a bulging in the middle of the bed. I tried to get a replacement and customer service was of little help. I was the only user of this bed.

The aerobed is a great air bed. I have the plain jane version. It's comfortable to sleep on and it inflates itself. What more can you ask for? It's a little pricey, but the quality is there. I have had other cheaper beds go flat or develop leaks with only a few uses, but the aerobed lasts. Only drawback is the price - that's why it only gets 4 stars.
